Works well for what I want it for.

I suppose Mason line is not exactly high-tech, but this is of excellent quality, if you told me it was made in USA, Germany, or Japan I'd believe you. This (or any) mason line is very handy cordage. It is a single-braid cord, which means it can be spliced (back into itself) for example to make an eye (loop at the end without a knot) or a very small soft-carabiner, etc.. Since it's nylon it can be melted at a cut end to prevent fraying, and in general it's like very small-gauge rope. Its breaking strength is not published but I would expect something on the order of 150 lbs / 700 N(ewtons). I'd say this is a great deal and expect if you buy a name brand it comes from the same factory.

It is very strong, as you would expect for nylon. It also knots easily, which is a good feature. Twisted nylon string does not knot well, it tends to slip and I've had to superglue the knots to make them permanent. This string is neater than regular twine and doesn't stretch like plastic gardening tape. I have flower stalks on a red yucca bush that lean over the driveway and walkway and I tie them back every year so they're out of the way. They "lean hard" and it takes a strong tie. The ends did fray, not as badly as twisted nylon, but that's not a big deal, a few quick passes through a lighter flame will fuse the ends.

It is nice and strong, and will work well for this use. It should be good for many other uses, where you need a good strength twine. The bright orange will not be inconspicuous if that is what you want for plants. It was like a Rubik's cube finding the end:-) It is tucked and glued in place and hard to see. Keep looking, you'll find it.

This nylon string is very strong, it is good for daily use. Yesterday I even used it to tie up mattress and bed frame on the top of my minivan for which I needed to bring to another city which is 200 miles away, no problem at all.

Really bad productThe instant I broke the plastic seal this string turned into a tangled mess!Had to toss it in the trash because it was too much to untangle

I got this to use for my outdoor project or building a new privacy fence. I use the string to keep all the boards on a straight line. I like this string since its easy to see and it is very strong. I have pulled this line very tight and have had no issues w/ it breaking. I’ve had some of this line sitting outside for a couple of weeks and I have not seen any signs of degradation of its color or its strength.Overall im pleased with this string and will likely purchase again when this runs out.
