I have had the Gotrax XR Elite Max Electric Scooter for about a week now and it’s honestly been one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time. First off, setup was super easy. I’m not someone who enjoys putting stuff together, but this was pretty much ready to go out of the box. I just had to attach a couple parts and it was done. Took me maybe 10 minutes total, and I didn’t even need to pull up a YouTube video or anything. As far as performance goes, I’m really impressed. It can hit speeds up to 15 mph, which is more than enough for cruising around town or getting to work or class. I’m a bigger guy (about 250 pounds) and I was honestly a little nervous about whether it would handle my weight. But it’s been great. It rides smooth, doesn’t feel sluggish, and still gets up to speed without a problem. The battery charges pretty fast, and once it’s fully charged, I get a good amount of use before needing to plug it in again. I’ve taken it on multiple rides in one day and still had some battery left by the end. I wouldn’t say it’s “all-day” battery, but it definitely lasts longer than I expected. For short commutes and running errands, it’s perfect. Another huge plus: it folds up easily and fits right into the trunk of my car. I live in an apartment and don’t have a ton of space, so being able to fold it and tuck it away quickly is a game changer. Also makes it easy to take with me if I’m heading somewhere that I want to scoot around. And the price? Already pretty affordable compared to other electric scooters, but I happened to get mine on sale, and let me tell you, that discount made it even more worth it. Even if I paid full price, I’d still say it’s worth every penny. If you’re on the fence about getting one, go for it. It’s reliable, fun, and actually practical. Easily one of the best electric scooters out there in its price range. Highly recommend!

I am new to riding electric scooters, always just walked everywhere. I have to say this thing is pretty fun! Once I got it, it only took me a few minutes to set up and put together, which was super nice. I was on the road riding soon after and had so much fun! I have a lot of inclines / declines in my neighborhood so this got a good amount of extra speed and I was flying. Battery life is pretty solid, I rode it around for a few different nights this week with no issue. It's pretty sturdy and solid. I like the stability of it. It moves around very easily and it's very easy to learn. It's the perfect height and it's great that it folds down so it's easy to carry. I have already recommended this to my coworkers as a lot of them have scooters already. I really liked the scooter light it has on it and the back light is bright too! It is really helpful to have those, especially at night since my neighborhood has no street lamps or sidewalks. You have to be on the street so the lights make me feel a lot safer! Overall I would give this a 10/10, I am pretty happy with what I got, especially at the price point!

The Gotrax XR Elite Max is our 4th GoTrax purchase. We have two G4’s, an Eclipse, and now the GXL. Setup: The GXL was easy to set up and we had it charged and operational in no time. Physically: It is a lightweight scooter that folds easily and transports (in car) nicely. Ride: My husband (6’6” – 220 lbs) used it to track my daughter and myself during a half-marathon for its maiden voyage. It is a smooth riding scooter that handles well over varied terrain (road, gravel, dirt). My husband normally rides the Eclipse. We bought this one for our kids. Battery: So far, the battery life for us is going well. I will update when I can calculate what the initial charge allowed in mileage. Difference with G4 (which is more expensive): One main difference between this scooter and the G4 is that the G4 has more pickup initially, but for me this was not a draw back as I am not as anxious to get to 20mph as fast as possible like the males in our family. 😉 I found it to have smooth acceleration. It reached 20mph on straightaways and reduced to 15mph on inclines which was expected. The other difference is that is does not have a locking code. We use our scooters when we travel a lot to avoid having to find parking and usually use a scooter lock to secure them to a light post, etc. The code is an extra layer in the security. Since we lock all our scooters together it won’t hurt us, but if you were only riding this one and wanted to leave it unattended, you might want a version with a locking code although a physical lock is still effective. Overall: This is a great, lightweight scooter for the price, and I do recommend it whole-heartedly! Their customer service has been responsive and very helpful! They really try to make sure the customer is satisfied and that is worth a lot!

Purchased for my husband last Christmas and he absolutely loves it! Works exactly as advertised and more. Supports his weight (260 lbs) with ease, zips around town, and impressed all his friends. Highly recommend!

As soon as we received the scooter, we tested it the next day to ensure it was working properly. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to find that the back tire was either broken or flat right out of the box. We attempted to inflate it, but the air immediately leaked out, confirming the issue. Additionally, we noticed that the charger heats up excessively, which is concerning and shouldn’t happen. We would like to either return the scooter or have it replaced. We also hope that GoTrax improves its quality control process to prevent situations like this, as it creates unnecessary inconvenience for customers, especially given the size and weight of the item. Update: we end up returning the item as we contact them back in fort but takes time for there action, we have decided at first not to return and wait for the tire replacement that they will send but they send the wrong tire so that day we decide to return the item.

I bought this scooter a little over a month ago, and then the charger as stopped working. The escooter itself is fine but now I cannot charge it. I have tried to buy so many different chargers to see if they would work and nothing will work to get it charging again. I would recommend staying away from this Escooter as the charger cannot be replaced. They do not offer replacement chargers on either Amazon or there website, so now after just over a month of having it, I'm down almost 1000k CAD$ with this useless scooter just sitting there. It's absolutely heartbreaking. Amazon, please let me return this item, or please send me a new charger from this actual product that will work. I spent so much on this just to help me get to work.

61 km d'autonomie... Ne fait pas 30 km et a vitesse écono. Puissance instable baissait souvent et beaucoup. C'est une 500 watts et la vitesse baisse beaucoup face au vent. J'ai fait 17 km sur du presque tout plat un jour et la force a baissé beaucoup je me demandais si j'allais pouvoir retourner à la maison

The old electric bike was thrown away and it was of this brand. We spent a lot of happy times with it, and it is great to use with great battery life and power. It is normal to have some discounts on battery life, but believe me, it is definitely a good product as the battery life can reach 110% in the first year. It can be folded and placed in the trunk. In fact, my wife and I can stand on it together. Once you use it, you will find that you can't live without it. It is really convenient. As long as the road conditions permit, it is the perfect match for people who don't want to walk when going out.
