I needed a new drill to complete a few DIY jobs around the house and wanted a cordless one rather than my old branded corded unit which had served me well for many years. After researching the market I decided to opt for this one and I must say so far I am not disappointed.The drill was ordered after 5pm and was received the very next day by 10am, the item was supplied in an Amazon box, well packaged and also in a plastic protective carry case. Upon initial inspection the case also included 2 x batteries, 1 x charger, an instruction manual and a number of drill attachments (see pic). The later is very useful for me as I usually misplace such items so to have them in the carry case next to the drill is much appreciated. The drill instructions include a QR code to watch a more detailed video guide and there was also a card to apply for the lifetime warranty.The 2 x batteries supplied were already charged so I decided to do some of those outstanding DIY jobs; this included putting up a few items on internal walls and doors, drilling in to masonry brick, studded internal walls and putting together a small storage unit with many screws. In conclusion I found the drill handled all these jobs easily; the drill power enable me to easily drill through brickwork and it was also just as ease to screw items together while making my storage unit. I used the item in total for a good few hours, and then decided to charge it. This took just over an hour (light goes from red to green on socket plug).Overall this drill is very handy, it is much lighter than my old drill, weighing just over 1.2Kg. Its is definitely small and nimble but has the power, torque to tackle all the jobs I need it for. I am definitely pleased with its performance so far, and based on the price point and value for money will give it a full 5 stars, a highly recommended purchase!

I'll split the review into 2 parts. The drill/driver and the accessories. Let's start with the drill/driver. The 2 batteries came pretty much fully charged and the indicator light is useful although the usability falls off rapidly near the end of capacity. The batteries are identical (apart from colour) to the ones used in the Bamse chainsaw which is a bonus. Battery life was good and I made test holes in a fresh, damp pine log before inserting and removing about 30 off 5 x 50mm woodscrews in soft wood with no apparent drop-off in performance. Charging time looks good although I have yet to exhaust a battery completely. The torque ring seems effective as does the drill and hammer setting. The light comes on as soon as the trigger is pressed even though forwards or reverse is not selected. Personally I can live without the light, it doesn't illuminate the workplace at all.The accessories are OK but I wouldn't use them for DIY stuff. There's no Pozidriv bit and the magnetic holder is sloppy so that the bits are too loose. My advice would be to get a decent set of accessories if you are planning a project. There's a reversible driver bit held in the base of the drill but again, not a Pozi bit.Overall I was very pleased with the item. The hard case is a great idea, although it doesn't leave space for anything else in the box, such as a different accessory box. Time will tell whether the batteries last a long time but for DIY use this is a great addition to the toolbox.

Good value for money.light and easy to use

Nice light wight drill with lots of handy drill and screw bits, also has a nice case to keep them all in one place. It is surprisingly power full for its size and makes a job a lot quicker. it also has a number of speed setting for drilling and screwing making it a very versatile drill and I think it is good value for money.

I needed to replace my old cordless drill, which didn't exactly have the grunt needed to drill brick walls in my new home. Choosing a new drill is a minefield. So many to choose from. Do I go branded and pay a premium or take a chance on an unknown brand.The videos for this drill suggested it would fit the bill and it certainly does. For the money, I think this is hard to beat value. You get a sturdy case which holds the drill body, 2 batteries, charger and a comprehensive set of drill bits and accessories.The batteries appeared fully charged on delivery so it was possible to use the drill right out of the box. The drill body is nicely weighted and the soft grip rubber makes it easy and comfortable to hold. I also like that with the battery fitted, the unit stands on its own when put down.There are 3 settings for driving screws, normal drilling and hammer drilling. The only criticism I have is that the circular adjuster is very stiff and initially I was not able to change it. I do have dexterity issues with my hands and there as just nothing to grip . The adjuster sits behind the torque adjuster wheel. However I found that by holding both wheels, rather than just trying to turn the driver setting, this made it easier. If there were a raised nub to hold to improve grip, this would make things much easier.In use, I've been very surprised at just how good this drill is. The battery lasts and last, even when hammer drilling. I like that the variable power button that allows for variable speed, so you can start off slow and gentle and then ramp it up to full blown hammer drilling just by squeezing the trigger harder. It has made light work of drilling brick walls, which I have been able to do with ease.The drill bits that come with this set are a mixture of wood, metal and masonry and all seem good quality and get the job done. The chuck is easily opened and closed by hand rather than a chuck key, but it holds the drill bits securely. And a nice touch is the little led light that shines on where you are drilling.I bought a mini-chain saw from the same company which came with 2 batteries and they are interchangeable with the drill, which is handy, though I'm really surprised at just how long the drill battery lasted, even when doing a lot of hammer drilling into brick. I think this is possibly the best cordless drill set I have ever had. It is powerful enough for all the jobs I've thrown at it so far and the build quality suggests it will last a good few years. I'm impressed enough to be thinking of buying one for my son for Christmas, so I would recommend this set as a very decent alternative to the known brands.
