Great coach bolts
I needed some quality 10cm coach bolts to screw together two sets of beams and wanted to go for Spax because I always found their screws are excellent. As is often the case, the product is poorly described on Amazon (common guys!). These are 10cm coach bolts with a torx head that come in packs of 100 items. They are suitable for outside use as well as indoors. The torx head is great because it rarely twists off like philips heads and you can power it in straight off in seconds with a drill driver. I used 7mm wood drill bit for pilot holes which seemed to work. I suspect it would work with a smaller drill bit but this seems to strike the balance between snug and speed to power-in. Overall really impressed with these Spax screws - just need a clearer product description from Amazon.

There was no driver bit included in box - bit of a PITA in that had to go and buy one

Sehr gutes Produkt, Schraube hĂ€lt super am Bit, lĂ€Ăt sich leicht verarbeiten und spaltet das Holz auch ohne Vorbohren nicht (zumindest bei meinem Projekt). Zudem sind die Schrauben m.E. preiswert. Werde ich definitiv öfter kaufen.
