NKJV, Large Print Thinline Reference Bible, Blue Letter, Maclaren Series, Leathersoft, Black, Comfort Print: Holy Bible, New King James Version

The New King James translation is my favorite.I grew up with it and I’m used to its beautiful cadence and the vocabulary it uses.I’ve been looking for a decent quality Bible and I think I found the “one”.The chapter numbers are blue instead of the usual red and for a color blind reader these are so much easier to read.I prefer words of Christ in black rather than red but this one has it in blue and if I hade to choose between red and blue I would go blue hands down.It’s thin and light so I can take it everywhere with me.The the leather feels and looks like a top grain cowhide leather. Not a premium leather but better than imitation. It’s edge lined so it will have a long life.It has beautiful gauffered edges with a light gold gilding. Super elegant looking. The design is “engraved” in the pages edges so even if the gilding fades the design will remain.The paper feels like 36 GSM European paper and has a slight sheen.The downsides are few but present.For the price it’s completely worth it.

I have many bibles,this one is my daily reader the blue letters are very nice on my eyes when reading and studying for long periods of time. The quality is very durable and has a nice balanced feel to it

This is one of the most beautiful Bibles I have ever seen, especially for the price. I bought this as a gift, and the recipient loves it. The blue type and decorated page edges elevate the overall presentation. That it uses his favorite translation was the icing on the cake.

This Bible is perfect. It’s high quality, aesthetically appealing, easy to read, floppy but not too floppy, and has easily become my go-to Bible. It’s better than I thought it would be. Perfect for studying and teaching. I absolutely love it! I have the compact version as well and I love it also. Such great quality and the price is amazing.

This is worth the money, attractive and the text block is great. I’m not one for floppy covers but most would be happy. It has the floppy feel of a premium goatskin cover of which I am not a fan. Still, a nice Bible for the money.

I usually prefer the smaller personal size or compact Bibles with a larger print. Was able to look through this one at a store before ordering from Amazon. The MacLaren series is a wonderful change from the more standard red letter versions and now I understand the love people have for the thinlines. The leathersoft cover and gilded page edge design are excellent quality for the price paid, especially since it is line matched which helps when reading.

The most dependable literal translation in modern times. It has become a standard for my daily reading.

I'm enjoying my new blue letter Bible that has comfortable print and fits perfectly in my medium-sized handbag.

I love this bible, great quality inside and out from the pages to the blue text, size of the text perfect, comfortable to hold. The helpful concordance at the back great idea! The NKJV is definitely my fave version so far and the closet to the KjV that I am happy with. Would definitely recommend.

Large print for my elderly eyes. Such a beautiful BibleIt was a present from my husband as the print on my other one was difficult to read. Just perfect.
