Celsi Purastove Glass 2 Electric Stove

Not purchased from Amazon but direct from Celsi via a local shop. The fire has numerous flame effect settings, so you can change to your liking or mood. Picture display, brightness, flame speed etc. You can also have an audio crackle at different levels or silence if you prefer. All easy from a remote control. The display looks best to the eye if you are sitting in front of it, rather than to the side. That way you get more of a 3D effect. On picture only and with no sound effect, it is more or less silent.Heating is from a fan that can be manual or thermostatically controlled. The fan certainly pumps out the hot air, but this does make it slightly noisier than our previous electric fire. The thermostat is not very good, it does not repond to temperature very quickly, but I am not sure if this is a design fault or a fault with our fire. Our Dimplex electric heaters have much better thermostats.There is no explanation or advice about renewing the led lighting, presumably they are designd to last many years. Time will tell. Guarnteed for two years. Yes, it looks good, but is rather expensive!
