What is the inner diameter of the battery compartment?

The center hole diameter is a little over half an inch. The four holes around it are smaller and don't fit a pen but do fit vape cartridges. I highly recommend getting it. It's been very useful.

Works for me

Losing vapes that you have paid good money for can really upset me. I wanted a special pace to put them standing up so that the liquid does not escape the vape pen. This works. I know where it is. I know that it’s safe if I put it there every time it’ll be there.
