A Level Organic Chemistry Textbook - OCR A (Years 1 + 2)

An absolutely Amazing Chemistry book!This book has given me the upmost confidence in studying chemistry & has really helped me prepare for my exams. The content is explained brilliantly & the diagrams are clear & precise, it is self explanatory throughout & the exam questions & answers are extremely helpful, very well written & well explained. The book goes into a lot of detail, personally one of the best books I’ve used to revise. Content is clear, love the colours used. The book has examples of correct answers and incorrect answers so you do not get mistaken.It also has a wide range of exam questions with answers. Paper quality is soft and is a sizeable book can easily fit into backpacks.Overall I would rate it as the perfect book and I would definitely recommend my fellow A-Level students to purchase if you are trying to get that A* !!

Amazing chemistry book. The mechanisms are nicely broken down with explanations too. Has detailed images of the practical equipment and it’s clear and concise. Overall really worth the money.

Very clear and concise. Gave me a good foundation for how the content of A Level Chemistry is. Lots of useful examples throughout the book. Each topic was explained well and broken down in a way that was easy to understand, even though I had little background knowledge on the topics at the time.

Sat my first year exam and used this book which really helped. I think this is probably one of the best revision guides. Some feedback if a second edition is to be made- There should be more questions at the end of each topic as I found them to be very useful.

The content is nicely broken down and written exactly how the mark scheme wants. Diels Alder section was helpful as well as it wasn't in my other textbook I use.Feedback to the author- Please consider more examples for naming hydrocarbons.

Fantastic book! Bought for a colleague and was highly impressed. The book covers all topics in depth without leaving you feel overwhelmed. I would recommend to all students! I wish this was available when I was a student. Great buy.
