My last flattening iron was a wider width and I've had it for years and years but it got gross on me while in storage so I needed a new one. I wasn't willing to spend a lot for something I wouldn't use all the time so I think this is a great price for my needs. I've only used this twice so far but it worked great. I loved that it came with a safety glove and clips as they proved useful for my thick hair, wavy hair. There are 4 temperature options and I used the next to the highest (410 degrees). This iron gets super hot so be sure to use the glove when clamping down the end and have something heat proof that you can lay it on while it's on. My hair is also frizzy so the iron helped to tame that down so my hair ended up softer. It's a lot of work for me to straighten my hair (I'm lazy haha) but I'm happy to have this on hand for when I need it.

I needed a new flat iron but wasn't quite sure which one to select. The reviews were very helpful in making my decision to make this purchase. My hair is transitioning type 4c and I wanted to do an at home keratin treatment which needs a flat iron to be heated up to a certain degree and Afux had my back. After using the flat iron at the 410 setting it came out straight, full and shiny. I would definitely recommend this product to someone looking to straighten your hair naturally.. I love this iron and happy I made this purchase.

It was an awesome buy at first, but it stopped working within less than six months

Bought this after browsing through many, but feared it would not be optimal. But this has been fantastic in just every way! I have long frizzy wavy hair but with how fast and easy it is to use I can straighten 5-6 layers in 30 mins. Also awesome for travel due to dual voltage, just a way of closing the plates together after use would be great for packing. Excellent product!

It has so many things inside, when I was doing this review I realised it had a cute red bag 😂❤️ straightens hair efficiently! Right temperature!

I was surprised at how good this straightening iron works. It straightened my hair without drying it out and leaves my hair shiny. For the price it's not a bad tool. I hope it lasts for a few years.

Works ok for thin wavy hair… wouldn’t recommend for thicker coily hair.. will definitely take several passes.
