I have used regular unbrellas in the hot Florida and Georgia sun. I said hot, but I really mean flaming. They didn't work. This works wonderfully. The interior is black,and fights the sun. I use this when I go walking in the morning. It's cute and gets the job done!

I love these umbrellas! I had a different brand the first time I bought one but I bought a couple of these parasols for our trip to Arizona and we use them to give us some shade at and in the pool as it was 100° outside.. everyone was jealous..lol

This works incredibly well. Used during Comic Con, midday in a line that was 2 hours long in a paved parking lot. I shared the shade with ppl close to me.It was compact and light enough to put in my back pack or the drink pocket.My only reason for not doing 5, was that the handle is short so holding it for long periods of time is a bit hard. It's a normal compact umbrella length though so nothing too in expected.My other reason is when I released the umbrella for the first time it was so powerful I almost hit the person in front of me without thinking. And it was a bit hard to re lock the umbrella after use. You get used to it though.Definitely recommend bringing if you need to stand in the sun.

Actually really cuts the heat. While open in sun, hold hand towards top under it & you feel no heat. Mechanically works great. It is well built, thick material UV cover. Folds down easy, pops open fast. Very nice product for keeping sun & rain off.

It's an umbrella and did its job as expected. For some reason, on first use, the handle turned orange and even dyed my nails and fingers orange. I don't know if it's rust or something else, but was a bit of a turn off.

I've been having skin reactions to the sun with the high UV levels all summer and this umbrella is really great for when I don't want to reapply sunscreen. It's a nice size and it opens easily (perhaps a little aggressively). I think the design is really beautiful.

The media could not be loaded. I've had this umbrella about 3 months. On the 4th time I used it, it would not open. When it finally opened with some persistence (standing in the rain), it shot out of my hand and into the road! Now it will not close all the way or stay open, making it useless. I usually have my umbrellas for years because I treat them gently. This umbrella is defective and they will not replace it.
