Best Drop foot brace bar none
This item really helps my drop foot issue by stopping my foot from doing it's dangle dropping. Any other Drop foot brace does Not stop drop foot. They merely prevent the issue from being so severe and after awhile the wires will come loose n my foot drags again. This device actually stops the issue n the velcro it uses is SO "grabby" that it grabs on what it needs to n won't let go without considerable effort. This was a GREAT purchase. Puts all other drop foot braces to shame.

Worn with ease to prevent falls due to drop foot
I have a right foot drop that occurred from a herniated disc in my back. I wore an afo for a couple of years but I did not want to wear ugly shoes, right shoe bigger than left to accommodate for the brace. After 3 falls that resulted in broken bones a physical therapist told me to look into something new that I might be more comfortable wearing with more fashionable tie shoes in my correct size. I tried this brace and ever since I am wearing it more and more. No more falls! Like the way it fits under trousers. Wear the back with black athletic shoes and leggings. No one knows I have it on. Very pleased with this product.

Works pretty good for drop for
Nice brace, I have a little foot drop with my left foot and this helps but I find that I need to re-adjust the start often.

Very helpful for drop foot
This brace is perfect for my husband who has had undiagnosed trouble with his swinging gait and drop foot for over 7 years. He has been to neurologists who can’t help him, and is now in PT. The PT suggested we get a brace to help him with better biomechanics, and I was happy I chose this one. Oddly, when he first put it on his sneaker, we were surprised he automatically bent his knee and walked forward more normally. It helps him walk more straight and quickly instead of his usual gait where he locks his knee which causes his leg to swing out sideways with each step. Getting another one to attach to his golf shoe so he doesn’t have to keep undoing for different shoes. On the golf course with the brace, he can play an entire round without as much fatigue from hills. He can also carefully walk up a flight of stairs with the brace helping his knee bend. So far, he’s used it for about 2 weeks and hasn’t tripped with it. We’re taking a vacation in a few months which requires walking tours and will definitely bring this with us. We only expected it would help with tripping from catching his toes on the ground and don’t understand why it also helps his knee bend but we’re happy it does! He can have quality of life back.

Comfortable and adjustable
I have had foot drop for 35 years due to an accident and have used a heel lift for most of that time. I have also tried other AFOs that were too cumbersome so became leery of finding one. This AFO appealed to me because of how lightweight and adjustable it looked- 2 very crucial factors that applied to my foot drop. I decided to try it and am SOO glad I did! I’m on my feet most of the day at work and provides support, walk more evenly, smoother (or at least feels that way) so don’t have to compensate as much with my strong leg so don’t get as tired. A life changer!

not working for me
Does not work as advertised. I read the reviews and it sounded good, but it does not do the job in picking up foot and I actually almost tripped from dropped foot

Velcro is cheap
I have a drop foot and the brace serves its purpose, but after a few months, the Velcro becomes weaker and the brace becomes useless.

Easy to use. Adjustable strap slips during use, i.e. ineffective
Easiest to use of the three types I tried. While the adjustable strap slips during use, I found that the amount of toe lift gained by using the strap at its longest length was effective in preventing tripping.Returned other designs and bought two more of these.Second Review: The drawback of this design is that the adjustable strap slips during use causing the toe of the shoe to drop to it's normal position. Readjusting the strap while wearing the shoe is difficult.I've has to preadjust the shoe then immobilize the adjusting buckle to prevent it from moving. This works but the brace can only be used for the specific pari of shoes it's been adjusted for.
