Why is this for 18 months and up? I think my 14 month old would like it as she keeps playing pretend with everything

Hi there,I bought this same doll for my 12 month old and she LOVES it!!! It would be totally fine for a 14 month old. It is small for a little one to hold and very sweet face. She will enjoy playing with it!!

Is it machine washable?

I Wouldn't Try Machine Washing The Doll, As I Think The Soft Body Would Get Lumpy And Perhaps The Seam Would Separate. However, I Think It Could Take Gentle Washing With A Clean, Lightly Soapy Cloth.

The description says that it is scented. Is it a strong smell? What scent is it?

I think the newer dolls are not scented. Description now says fragrance free. 2019 and our doll came unscented.

It smells like a baby doll. I don't know if you ever received regular baby dolls when you were little but it has that fresh scent to it. There was no scent to it other than that. This is a very nice doll. I never noticed a scent other that that. By no mens was it offensive, just a great, new smell.

Beautiful small doll. My two granddaughters love it

A really great 1st doll. I got for my granddaughter age one. My other granddaughter fell in love with it even though she has several dolls so I got another one for her as her new baby. She was thrilled.
