Air purifier. Excellent for carpeted homes & people with allergies, dust, dander, pets, & smells.
Excellent for everyone's health. Especially people with allergies. I turned it on and a day later my itchy dry & sometimes wet, eyes stopped itching. For that alone it's worth every penny. My place is completely carpeted. Removes dust particles in the air. On automatic, very quiet, not noticeable. When manual, set high, there is some noise, but not bad. Removes smells. Indicator on front gives you a blue, green, orange or red. Excellent down to poor air quality. Needs to be turned on high. On top of the unit is the controls & the number to indicate what air quality. Mine is for 3,000 sq feet. My condo is 1,200 sq feet, but I have an open loft above the kitchen & dining rooms. I have taken naps with it on & sleep fine. I'm a very light sleeper. No flashing lights. Just one bright dot in front.

Great Product, Filter Lasted Longer Than Advertised
I purchased two of these Air Purifiers in April of last year (currently February, ~10 months later) and am extremely pleased with the results and effectiveness of the product. I live in Brooklyn, NY in a railroad style apartment (one side facing street near-ish a busy road, the other side facing an interior courtyard) and I purchased two 311i Maxs. One is in the the threshold between the kitchen/living area and bedroom area and the other is in the main "bedroom" that faces the street. The threshold between rooms is high traffic, so lots of dust and particulates get swept around when I walked between the rooms of the apartment. Immediately I noticed that the dust accumulation in the living and bedroom area became much more gradual. The purifier itself also traps a TON of dust clumps on the cloth outer filter that needs to be cleaned periodically but I am happy to know that it is certainly doing its job. The bedroom purifier also is doing well, but its a much lower traffic area of the apartment so it doenst need to be cleaned as often. The advertised filter live is 6 months. However, after 10 months the high traffic air purifier's filter is just about at 15% and I purchased a replacement. For context, I run it constantly at its lowest setting and have it automatically adjust to a medium high setting for two hours each evening from 5-7pm (this is usually when I am cooking and honestly, not even sure if this is necessary). I am extremely impressed with the durability of the filters in this capacity. Noise wise, I couldn't be happier. They certainly have gotten marginally louder over time (likely due to filter age) but really not bad at all. My (aging) refrigerator's cool cycle is louder than these things. I'm an audio engineer so I use my ears for a living and am particularly sensitive especially when I am working or trying to go to sleep. Not only is the purifier's noise imperceptible from more than 10 or so feet away, but I have on running all day in my studio where I work and I don't have to turn it off except to record exceptionally quiet sources. To be fair, this is all on the lowest setting. The higher settings are certainly noticeable, but about the same volume as my Mideas air conditioner. The app also works great. When there was renovations happening in the apartment below mine, I was able to periodically check in on the particulate levels while I was out for work and adjust the purifiers intensity as needed to make sure no unwanted drywall or wood dust settled in my apartment. The indicators on the units are helpful as well to see the air quality change when cooking or lighting...erm "incense" and know that the purifiers are doing their job and keeping the house clean and odor free. You can have the filters auto-set depending on particulate levels but honestly, they work so fast at the lowest setting I rarely find myself manually upping the intensity of the fan unless there is a serious cooking/smoke mishap or something similar. You're probably better off just keeping them on low 90% of the time. Recommend these to folks all the time as I do to you, dear reader.

BLUEAIR Air Purifiers for Large Rooms, Cleans 3,048 Sqft In One Hour,
I have purchased two of these and overall I like them. It was a little challenging to register the product. I first tried on their website which didn't work right but it allowed me on the app that I had downloaded onto my phone. The units work well and are fairly easy to set up. It works through the app as well as from the unit. Mostly I use the console on the unit if I want to change anything. It doesn't look difficult to change the filters. The inside one is a little pricey if you want the more hypoallergenic filter. However filters seen to last around six months. The controls are easy to use. The hardest thing was to adjust the dimming of the light which was a little tricky before I got it. It is not clear whether to run it on the automatic setting or use the fan for faster air exchange. I find the information offered not that detailed. I have taken to running in on the "2 fan blade" setting (low medium?). My only complaint is about running them on the two higher setting. In both one has a mild "buzzing sound that won't go away. And the other has a mild vibration such as fan bladed not being quite balanced. But since it doesn't really seem necessary to run at the higher speeds, it is not a big issue. At the lower setting it is quiet. Being large they are somewhat unwieldy to move around and as such I bought roller caddy's like for large plants which work well. After a couple of months I decided the one that is noisy and buzzing on the higher setting needed to be fixed or replaced so I contacted Blue air support. The site is pretty confusing for support and after going in circles I decided to try chat support. It seemed pretty good but besides the wanting the serial number and purchase receipt they wanted a video of the problem. I pointed out that the audio on the video might not exactly replicate the natural sound in my room. From what I could tell the buzzing (at a higher treble level) on the video was not as noticeable as in real life. Anyway the rep sent me an email to attach the files to and I sent them in anyway. So I never heard back from them. After a week I sent another email to the rep asking about any update and have heard nothing further since. About a week after this last posting I received a response apologizing for the delay. On reviewing my completed documentation, a few days later I was informed that they would be sending me a new unit to replace the "bad" one and a return authorization and label to return it when the new one arrived. The new unit arrived promptly and did not have the problem of the first one. Since I am very pleased with the outcome I have updated my rating to reflect this. Again my only concern was the delay in response to my submission. Given the outcome I feel I should let it slide. I like the machine well and they stood by it.

Purchased this Blueair Hepa air purifier almost a year ago and it has worked very quietly and efficiently, keeping our home air fresh and almost allergen free. (Air will never be totally allergen free due to leaky doors, windows, etc.) Noticeable difference especially with the wildfire smoke that many countries are experiencing. It is interesting to hear it automatically speed up when you are cooking something smokey. I like being able to control it or check in via iPhone. HEPA filter is combined with carbon filter to remove odours. Easy to change filter and relativity inexpensive to replace, also there are many after market filters that are cheaper if you wish to go that route. There is also a cloth pre-filter which you can remove and wash as required to extend the life of the main filter. Lighting on it is also dimmable. Very attractive and highly recommend.

Very effective, works well and easy to use. This purifyer is helping me everyday from nasty allergens from cigarette smoke. I just moved into a building with big smokers and poor ventilation. I knew about my cigarette allergy but I hadn't known how severe it had become. This purifyer is ideal for all kinds of smoke, from cigarettes to forest fire smoke, because it has a carbon filter. I leave it in automatic mode and it filters the air using very little energy to keep the air to "excellent quality". There is a light that changes color to inform us of air quality. When it's blue, I know I can breath easily. You can hook this purifyer to your Wi-fi and use special app to manage it, but it's not necessary. I'm using it without it and it's going very well. It's very quiet compare to my previous one I bought 3 years ago. The filters aren't cheap and it needs to be changed every 6 to 9 months. I haven't had to change it yet, but I'm hoping it lasts as long as possible and that there won't be any problems. I'll edit this review when it's time for a change.

Great machine. You pay for the quality but it's quality you get. I use it in my bedroom for allergy season. On night mode, it is impossible to hear. On level one, you can barely hear it. I keep it on level one. Automatic works well - the speed increased when I had a smoky air fry. The design is nice, and well thought out. The fabric prefilter is super easy to remove and wash. The Bluetooth connection works well and it's nice to see the current and history of how clean the air is. There are no cons here. Great unit.

I've had this air purifier for a few months now, and it has made a huge difference. Highly recommend! Even on the most powerful setting, the sound is hardly noticeable -- and this was something I was really concerned about. It's whisper quiet. And it works incredibly fast to remove cooking smells and odors.

This unit looks nice but it definitely has flaws. Calling an air cleaner "HEPASilent" it should probably be more quiet than it is. The fan is fairly reasonable until you use it at speeds that are actually useful (50%+). The fan in my unit also makes a particular rubbing/humming sound that is likely not normal (hopefully). For an air purifier to be effective, it needs to exchange all the air in a space completely almost 5x per hour, not just once. In many cases, that would require this unit to be operating on full speed, which is loud. The ability for the filter to eliminate odors is also extremely limited. For odors to be properly captured/eliminated, you need literal pounds of activated carbon to capture and hold it. This thin layer of carbon material around the filter likely only has a few grams of it. It cannot effectively trap or capture legitimate amounts of odors/volatile organic compounds. The particle sensor is also unfortunately questionable regarding reliability/accuracy. It consistently shows that interior particle counts are 0 PPM for particles of all sizes. That is very, very unlikely considering the rate of air exchange with outdoor air and the average fan speed the filter is set at. I have compared other particle readers with this one and there's always a significant difference for readings under 100 PPM in particular (The blue air just always reads 0 PPM, despite it actually being 20-75 PPM on the other reader). Lastly, the filter itself is not a genuine HEPA filter. They use marketing terms like "TrueHEPA" and "HEPASilent" as to not technically false advertise. I have compared this filter to lab-grade real HEPA filters and they are not the same. When it does come time to replace your not-so-HEPA filter, you'll also find that it costs about $100 with tax... A steep price for routine maintenance. Considering I paid almost $500 for this, I would consider this very over priced for the value offered.
