I bought this pre-tied men's necktie that zips up primarily for a single event that required a different sort of tie. I'm a paraplegic with slightly spastic hands and have great difficulty with traditional ties. Zip-up ties tend to work quite nicely for me.This tie arrived quickly and was appropriately packaged. The tie is 2.5" wide and 20" from the knot to the bottom of the tie. I don't typically wear skinny ties, but I found this tie attractive and it went well with my outfit. It's made of polyester. The tie I ordered was burgundy and that is what I received.The polyester was smooth and shiny. The burgundy a rich color that is bright and vivid. I did have some difficulty initially unzipping the tie. In fact, it was so resistant that I nearly tossed the tie and chalked it up as a poor buy, but I was finally able to get it and once I got that initial zipper action going the tie has been easy to work with for the most part.The zipper stayed in place when I needed it to, though it strikes me as a little flimsy. I don't wear a tie daily and I think this is fine for moderate use, but if it's planned for regular wearing I'd have some concerns. Overall, this tie performed as needed but I do have some concerns about durability. It's not a tie I'll be likely to wear regularly, however, for special occasions it's just fine and I'd likely order others in the same line.This really is a great option for someone who has fine motor skill issues or spastic hands like myself. It looks like a traditional tie but without the actual tying required.

I love how easy this tie is to put on but it always comes unzipped on its own. It needs some way to secure it so it stays tight.
