This repair kit is amazing! I have beautiful, 15-year-old, high-quality laminate floors throughout my first floor. They have held up well everywhere except my kitchen. Dropping heavy pots, lids, and knives resulted in what looked like small pieces of white paper were scattered around the work area with some very deep and long bigger scratches. I've tried markers in the past, and they are useless (as are the ones in this kit), however, the wax filled every knick and matches my floors perfectly. You would never know they've been repaired. I waited three months to write this review, as I was sure the repairs were not going to hold up. While it did take some trial and error to find the correct color and technique, you would never know there were ever scratches on my floor. The first few days, I could tell were I'd put the wax as there was some residual build up. I was sure that mopping my floors was going to dislodge the wax and bring back the scratches, but if anything, my floors look better over time. Even on my hands and knees, I can barely find the places I've done the repairs. I wish I had taken before and after pictures, but I truthfully was not expecting great results after trying everything else. As I said, the markers are pretty useless, but the wax really worked. I'll add a picture of the repaired floor to show that you can not tell where the scratches were. One was large and deep (about 2 inches long) caused by a heavy, sharp knife. It went through the top layer of laminate and was completely white. (After looking at the pictures, they are much easier to find than they are with the naked eye).

I initially wanted to repair some laminate flooring but I found that this product works extremely well on furniture! As a lover of antiquity I was able to fill in gashes and scratches on a very old spindle table. It works great. A little patience goes a long way. As for the floor it helped quite a bit however color matching was difficult for me as I have very dark floors. Unless you’re on top of repair you can’t tell. Just use caution when mopping

I didn’t expect much at first, but this kit turned out to be really good! It has all the tools and colors you need to fix scratches, cracks, and small marks on vinyl or wood floors. The color options blend nicely, and the heating tool works perfectly to melt and smooth the wax. I used it to repair a few damaged spots on my floor, and now they look almost new. It’s super easy to use even if you’ve never done this before. Great quality for the price — I’d definitely buy it again!

Screw driver head on mine did not work. Needs a wider head in order to smooth out the wax. Threw it away.

I bought this to cover the white tab cracks that appeared in a vinyl floating floor after a heavy cabinet was placed on top of it. The kit had solutions for coloring wood furniture but I did not use these so can't comment on them. I did use the colored wax that was advertised for my specific problem. It was very difficult and laborious to use and didn't adhere well. You were expected to drip it from a small block of wax with the included heat wand. It was more intended for irregular gouges in the floor surface than the white tabs between them. I gave up after spending over an hour to fill in a foot of the white tab. I don't recommend it for that purpose.

This is a very impressive repair kit for wood, laminate, LVP, and other furniture/floor surfaces. The wax sticks are quite hard when cool but easily melted with the included heating tool, and the markers help to adjust the final colors for a seamless repair. I have used the traditional shellac sticks previously and these are much easier to use because they melt at a lower temperature (they won't burn the surrounding finish), and are easier to combine for color matches. The kit is quite complete with good instructions. I had a rather large repair, about a nickel-sized "blob" of black filler on an engineered wood floor plank. It would be difficult to replace the entire plank as it was in the middle of the floor. I scraped away enough filler to allow a "hole" for the wax to fill and combined three wax colors and the markers, the finished repair is invisible unless you get down and look at it from mere inches away! If you are concerned that the wax will be too soft, don't be. These sticks are not like the furniture repair "crayons" with soft wax that you rub into a scratch or gap. The wax is quite hard and tough once it has cooled down and easily withstands cleaning and polishing. Highly recommended!

We spent 10k installing new LVP "wood" floors and tbe painters put big long scratches in them when he moved the kitchen appliances... So, I decided to try this product. Didn't work. I was able to kind of fill in the scrape but you can still see it and now it's got a thick shiny waxy stripe over it. I think this would work for small gouges, maybe, but not for long scratches across the grain.
