Great little headphones
I've had these about 6 months now and they are great value for money. They are also the most comfortable earbuds I've had and I can wear them comfortably for well over an hour.Sound quality is good for the money, but I really use them to listen to audiobooks so can't comment much on music quality. Noise cancelling works nicely, but on a busy road you still get a small amount of background noise but it's heavily reduced.Battery life is good and lasts several hours. You'll get 2 full charges out of the case and they recharge fairly fast. Just don't expect wireless charging. The only downside is not having an easy way to adjust volume from the buds. You can setup an earbud to control volume but as they aren't touch sensitive (have to actually press them) it's difficult to use. I prefer to keep other functions like noise cancelling and start/stop/skip.Highly recommend and id buy these over most earbuds even those that are more expensive.

Excellent in-ears which live up to their reputation
First of all, I am used to listening to music on a pair of B&W PX7s which cost about £300 when new.I paid £70 for these Sony WF C700N headphones on Amazon as I wanted a pair of in-ears I could fall asleep listening to at night.I amazed at their sound quality for the money. It is detailed and spacious. The bass is rich but not overblown (unless that’s what you want) and can be adjusted to taste to suit all types of music. The higher frequencies are sweet and detailed, not shrill and harsh. These in ears sound equally good listening to modern jazz, rock, metal and orchestral film music (yes I listen to all of these regularly). The app works well and contains useful features. I find the noise suppression is very effective (provided the correct size of ear buds are used - Sony provide three sizes). I like being able to tune them to keep dialogue but remove other background noise. These in-ears are light and comfortable so I hardly notice wearing them and they don’t fall out.Battery life appears to be perfectly adequate in the one week I’ve owned them. How could they be improved? Wireless charging would be nice but probably not realistic at their regular selling price, without a trade off somewhere else. How do they compare to my B&Ws which I really like? The Sony’s sound more balanced across the frequency spectrum which is definitely not a bad thing - more a matter of taste. Because they are small and light I find myself listening to them more often. The B&Ws can only be listened to seated. If I had a choice of which to buy new today I would opt for the Sonys, no question about it. Fantastic sound/value!I would like to compare the 700Ns with Sony’s WF-1000XM5 to see if they are really that much better. I doubt they can beat the 700Ns for VFM.

4* Quality 1* Noise Cancelling
These Sony headphones have a high build quality and reliably connect. Very comfortable to wear. Small case with long lasting battery charge. Sound is good, but will not blow you away. Ideal headphones provided you're not buying them for noise cancelling.Noise cancelling is non-existent on my Sony ones, outside of the noise blocked out by the fit of the headphones. Tried different headphone tips included, but did not help. No difference noticeable when switching between the noise cancelling options on the app. Have recently bought a pair of the new Bose quiet comfort earbuds released Sep 2024. These are much dearer than the Sony ,but actually have effective noise cancelling from cars when walking or whilst commuting on train. Sound of the Bose is not that different from the Sony and the Bose have a bigger case and headphones, however they do deliver on their noise cancelling which is what I was really looking for.

Sony wf c700n earbuds
Well I've had these about 6 hours, listening to a few playlists and I'm very impressed by these little buds. The fit is exceptional, lovely and snug with no chance of falling out.The sound is good, nice deep bass and clear highs. There's plenty of personalisation in the Sony headphones app and the buttons (proper clicking, not touch sensor) are responsive and work very well.No problem connecting to the app or the Bluetooth on my android phone. Range is great, I can walk all around my flat without dropouts or stuttering. The anc is moderate in my opinion, but I do have the Bose ultra earbuds so I'm a bit spoilt anc wise with the kings of anc! But the fit is soo snug you have great passive noise cancelling to start with.Pass through /ambient mode works well if you need to chat to someone. All in all a nicely made pair of buds with Sony trademark quality sound which I've come to expect, and have not been let down yet.£79 paid and I feel that's a fair price for these little gems. I had the wf c500 before and these are very similar to those but a little bit smaller!I would recommend if you want a solid pair of buds with great sound.
