Organys Cleansing Oil and Makeup Remover Face Wash

Excellent product. Performs as effectively as a high-end modern cream cleanser. If you're like myself and enjoy emulsifying with oil, but dont always have the time/energy for a "double cleanse", this is the best of both worlds as the oil rinses clean with water. On days where I'm wearing heavy makeup, I still double cleanse (either with a straight oil prior to using this product, or with a foam cleanser directly afterward.) Best part about this cleanser is how gentle it is. I make a point to wash my face twice daily, and sometimes even have to wash in the middle of the day if I have a hard workout or do heavy yardwork. So with all this washing it has become a priority to me that my cleansers are not only super gentle but also preferably nourishing, and this one hits the ball right out of the park! Bonus points for adding geranium oil to the formulation instead of citrus oils (which seem to keep popping up in cleansers these days despite being "photoxic".) On top of that, geranium has an intoxicating floral scent and makes the experience simply enjoyable. As a cosmetologist, I also appreciate the short list of ingredients... everything serves a purpose and there are no cheap fillers. 5/5. Will repurchase.

I bought this w the recommendation of a good friend. She is on a strict list of facial products she's been approved to use from her dermatologist. Personally I love this cleansing oil. It's just as good as my other that costs 30+$. It feels so good washing my face. It gets all my makeup off- even my waterproof mascara leaving face clean and moisturized- and makeup free! I absolutely love everything about this face wash. If you use it as instructed it takes off all makeup completely, and it leaves your face feeling SO hydrated, clean and fresh. I have finished one bottle and have come back to buy another and it will probably be my go-to from here on out. It lasted more than six months even though I was using it every night. I started a brand-new face routine with several different products so I couldn't tell you if it was because of this product, but I used to have terrible breakouts. I had at least five pimples on my face at all times and now I only have a break out once every few months if that. My face is completely clear almost ALL of the time so something I'm doing must be right, haha. I have combination skin with some very oily spots so don't feel like you can't use this if you have oily skin. It actually helps keep the oil under control if you can imagine that. I don't feel at all oily after using it and it just makes your skin feel wonderful. I like the smell too, very mild but nice. :)

I wanted an oil cleanser that doesn’t break me out and was a bit less pricey than the previous ones I had tried. After all the food reviews, I thought I’d give it a go. So glad I did. I double cleanse at night and Organys gets the sunscreen and make up off like a dream. Follow it up with a gentle water based cleanser and my skin is clean yet not stripped or tight feeling. I will be purchasing again!

I have combination skin, meaning my forehead and my chin are ridiculously dry, while the middle third of my face is an oil slick. My skin is also really sensitive to things like alcohol and perfumes. This all means that I have to be really careful about what I put on my face. I need a cleanser to clean the oily parts without drying out the dry parts, and without aggravating my skin to the point where I break-out even worse than if I never washed my face at all. I was really skeptical that a cleansing oil would work, because my nose and cheeks get so oily and shiny. I just tried it for the first time today though, and it does an amazing job! My face feels clean and fresh, but rather than being red and dry, my skin feels smooth and looks amazing. I could go out right now without any makeup on, that's how great it made my skin look after one use. I highly recommend this for people with similar skin issues. It probably works fine for any other type of skin though, since it did a great job on my dry areas as well as the oily areas.

I have used this oil cleanser morning and night for five days and am IN LOVE with it. I have skin that's oily in the t-zone and dry in the cheeks area and typical foaming cleansers, even gentle ones, just make this worse. The Organys Cleansing Oil seems perfect for my skin. I usually have very oily skin, but since using this product my skin is considerably less oily, and doesn't feel dried out after cleansing. Even when I'm not wearing make-up, I like to thoroughly rub the Organys oil all over my face, giving attention to areas where I normally have breakouts or black-heads. I can practically feel this cleanser pulling impurities from my skin! Before rinsing I'll wet my hands and rub them all over my face again -- I love that water emulsifies this oil and makes it so much easier to remove! After using this oil cleanser as directed, I'll follow with witch hazel toner, then I'll apply a moisturizing sunscreen if it's day or a retinol serum and night cream if it's night time. My skin has never looked better. It looks and feels fresh and smooth. I am SO thrilled with this product!

Verdict: It's worth a try to see if you like it. I may however, continue to use it while hunting around for something else. Detailed reasoning is below. I'm a former Clean It Zero user. I was looking for a different oil cleanser that didn't require me to scoop product into my hand/had a dispenser or sorts, possibly cheaper, reasonably clean ingredients, and didn't have a marked-up price tag simply for the name brand. This product accommodates those requirements above. The product cleanses adequately. It leathers significantly less than Clean It Zero, leading it to initially provide a slightly less satisfying cleansing experience. You do get used to it, and it cleanses off makeup well while leaving the skin looking fresh without signs of dryness or irritation. Also, it does begin breaking down waterproof mascara, but leaves oily vision afterwards. I would have to follow up with Neutrogena eye makeup remover. It does help speed up the use of Neutrogena had I not used Organys first, but quite a bit of mascara is left behind without it. Clean It Zero removed the Neutrogena step entirely without oily residue. This may be because Clean It Zero lathers up more. Less lathering means less detergents though, and that could be seen as a plus for skin health in my book. As stated in my heading, it's pretty heavily fragranced. In general I'm not a fan of fragranced products. It suggests incorporated ingredients that were unnecessary, but this particular product was HEAVILY fragranced. After a time, I grew used to it. However, when my friend borrowed it on one of the occasions she stayed over, she reacted similar to me. She just found it too strong . Lastly, when using the product, you have to use a lot for it to adequately cleanse your entire face. It wasn't until after I cleansed my face the first few times that I checked the directions on the bottle. It literally says, "Dispense a HANDFUL" of product for each use. This was accurate. That makes this product on the more expensive side. I have had it exactly 1 month, and it's nearly out.

As a cleansing oil, this product lives up to expectations in many aspects. The cost for the amount you get is firstly a plus. I’ve been using the same bottle for several months now and still have a lot left. You don’t need a lot for your entire face, and that includes mascara removal. It doesn’t dry up as you’re working it into your skin. Also, it washes cleanly from your skin without an oily residue and leaves a pleasant, very faint smell. However, I then wash with face soap afterwards, so there’s no residual odor anyway. It’s very gentle and does not clog my pores, in fact it does the opposite, really helps clarify your skin because you’re removing more skin products.
