Has a great taste both hot or cold. I would recommend using and extra packet or 2 if your making it cold for the summer months as the ice you add tends to diminish the flavor after they melt. I love it hot with a little bit of sugar and a splash of milk makes it taste smooth and creamy at the same time. 1 packet has enough to make a great cup of tea.

I never know how to rate this kind of product. Do you rate it against another instant tea or against the best you have ever had in a restaurant or even homemade?I have had Thai tea in a few different restaurants and have brewed some at home. This tea in no way stands up to those. It simply doesn’t have the depth of flavor of brewed Thai tea.However, it gives a pretty good account of itself and definitely tastes like Thai tea. It’s not like you drink it and think, what is this. My wife loves it but hasn’t has any brewed Thai tea in a restaurant.As far as strength, the directions call for only 7oz of water per packet. You can’t dump this into a large glass or coffee mug and get much taste. So a 14oz coffee mug would take two packets and maybe slightly less water if you really want deeper flavor. It actually has sugar and is fairly sweet. I sometimes use the small styrofoam 8oz cups and fill it to about 1/4” from the top and it comes out great.So, I am going to it give it 4 stars. It is not restaurant quality but is a good quick fix. If I had never had restaurant Thai tea, like my wife, I would have thought this is great but it has to be made according to the directions.Also, I originally bought this at a Korean store on a whim. I figured that it couldn’t be that good but what the heck. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t had an artificial sweetener taste. The store is an hour and a half away so I checked Amazon and there it was. I have ordered it a couple of times so far and will probably continue to do so.
