I've struggled with solar lights from other manufacturers, because they'd fail quickly. I defo recommend these ones. These are good quality and reliable outdoor lights. Bought my first set few months ago to try, none of them failed, degraded in performance or rusted. I've now extended with another 12 set. The intensity and tone of the light is optimal. Depending on the amount of sunlight during the day the duration of the discharge will vary, but they charge enough even on a cloudy days. Good packaging as well (the cell is protected by the plastic film, each light bagged individually).

Excellent Solar Lights – Still Going Strong After 3 Years These 12-pack solar lights arrived promptly and exceeded expectations right out of the box. Each unit features a larger solar panel and more LEDs (12 compared to the older 8-LED models they replaced), offering a clear upgrade. The previous lights had become dim and unreliable, so this replacement was long overdue. All 12 lights worked flawlessly from the start and delivered a noticeable improvement in brightness and overall ambiance. We were so impressed that we purchased another set of 12 for the back garden. Highly recommended. (In the images: the first shows the new lights, the second shows the ones they replaced.) Update – Three Years Later: The original 12-LED models are still functioning perfectly after three years of continuous outdoor use. In contrast, all the cheaper 8-LED versions I previously bought have failed over time. These newer 12-LED units replaced the failed 8-LED models, and we’ve now purchased eight more to fully transition. The only two failures from the 12-LED set were due to accidental damage—one unit was cracked from a fall, and the other was pierced with a garden fork. Neither failure was due to a product fault. Given the reliability of the original 12 and their performance over several years, I’m confident the new batch will hold up just as well. I genuinely can’t fault them.

I've bought a few of these boxes over the last few years and I do like them. I often use them without the spikes and they sit on the shingle garden without having to pierce the membrane underneath. I also have a couple without spikes on the doorstep by the front door. I even use them in the conservatory to underlight the plants in the evening but this gloomy summer isn't giving as much sunlight indoors for them to last more than a few hours each night this year. I have quite a few outside and they have been out all year round and haven't gone rusty yet. The light is not terribly bright but then I don't want super brightness for security. I like them just bright enough to show the pathway and light up plants outside. I expect they will rust one day but I think these are still good value for money. I haven't had one yet that hasn't worked once charged up fully.

The lights are bright, look nice and seem well made. There is an on / off switch and you can place them on a hard surface or there is a spike to attach to put into soft surface (like grass or soil). They arrived fully charged and have part charged even in the uk weather at the moment, so expect in the spring and summer months they will fully charge each day. Definitely recommend!

6 months in. So in terms of what they say they do as lights, they are very good in terms of light given off, and for how long, so worth the purchase. However, they are not very resistant to water, the culprit is the silicon seal is not thick enough ( see picture ), and or the cover does push down hard enough to seal. ( general seal design needs an update). Can be fixed with some grease, but a bit laborious if you have a lot of these.

Well built , with metallic steel ring , nice bright light .”, auto switch off during day , with additional manual button to switch on / off the light . Easy to assemble and ideal for pathways . Switch is protected to avoid water seepage. Recommended solar light
