It worked well, the coffee tasted good and it was hot. It was bigger than what I needed and you have to be careful pouring it out if there is much leftover.

Well, I received it in a timely fashion, however, when I went to use it the spickot was broken. I work with Veterans, disabled persons, the elderly and I'm disabled myself. This was to be a treat for us all. I ended up brewing the coffee and ladling it out. Damn though, nearly 50.dollars for a strange soup bowl essentially.The Vendor sent a new one the very next day, hence the upgrade in stars. My people love it. I'm most thankful not to have to continue ladling out coffee. Thankful for their care, speed and honesty.

I use urns at my home all the time and I have been using different brands, unfortunately 6 months ago I bought the 40 cup urn from Elite GourmetAfter only 6 months ,it started leaking after 6 months, the company said they will send me a new dispenser they never did, terrible customer service , they want me to replace the dispenser and I am not a repair person asked them if they have a repair center in NY, no one responds , called them few times , no one answers ,I emailed them many times ,they don't return my emails looks like they have order form their upper management to ignore ,They sell garbage product , they give a phony warranty and they ignore customer.I suggest not to touch their products, when it breaks down they totally ignore you.I would suggest Amazon not to carry this product if they want their customers to be happy.

Makes a great of coffee very stylish

Wanted it to brew large quantities of water. I do not drink coffee so I wanted it brand new which it was advertised as new. When I received it, it smelled like coffee. I opened the urn and there was crystal like residue in it. I brewed several batches of water hoping it would get rid of the coffee smell - still faint smell. We used this to serve Glog at Thanksgiving. It worked really well and kept a consistent temperature of about 150. Its a bit hotter as it comes in contact with the heat element but the actual output from the spout was pretty consistent. It didn't burn the port we added to the glog. We will be using it again in about a week for hot chocolate at a Christmas party but so far I am very pleased with the value on this item.
