BuxAllure - Box Tree Moth Pheromone Refill - x4 Pheromones

Great product! I’ve used the small pellets for a year and never got a moth in my trap., despite my Buxus being attacked severely by the caterpillars. I switched to this product a few days ago and have caught 9 Box tree moths in my trap already. Which means my Buxus is again under attack. So I now need to spray my Buxus quickly (Box Tree Moth killer) to prevent further damage. These pheromones do not kill all the moths, except the ones in the trap. Its only an indicator to show that if you catch any moths, an attack of caterpillars is imminent. You will need to get nematodes to kill the caterpillars after the eggs laid hatch. (about 9 days).Then spray again after a week or so. And there will be thousands of them! It can be expensive but it’s that or lose your Box/Buxus. I can’t praise this product enough! Update; overall I caught over 100 moths since I used this product and have managed to keep my Box tree healthy and free of attack.

I battled with Box Moth for about five years. This product was the best. I have collected all the dead moths in a jar and they number in excess of 55. Then the drought came and basically I had to put down my weapons and accept defeat. Climate change is happening folks, it ain’t conspiracy theory or fake news… (I have replanted my mini Buxus par Terre hedge with Lonicera Nitida Elegans. Bare rooted, planted up mid November)

It is rare that I am wow'ed by a product, but after seeing a couple of moths around my Box hedge I thought I should act. Well, after just one night this lure captured 12 moths. They were all Buxus type. I can fully recommend this product.

I know I have box moths due to all the signs but the pheromone refills aren’t attracting moths, not impressed with the product. I am going to try a gel instead to see if that works.

I put out a single trap mid May through to September replacing the pheromone capsules every 6 weeks. Last year I captured around 40 months, and combined with spraying, the buxus is caterpillar free. Great product, great price and great service

some information on when to use, where to place, how long it lasts would be very helpful

Box tree pheromones - this does work well and used in a hanging trap captured many moths for a couple of months. Would say it needs replacing in the season as I did eventually have to use nematodes and then chemicals to get rid of these voracious box tree pests.
