Sunhouse (Dimplex Group) Sunhouse Thermostatic Heater, White, 4 ft

So I have recently bought a 2 foot for a small hallway just inside the front door and a 4 foot tube heater for my living room.Now I live in a all electric masonet and its getting rediculously expensive to heat during the colder periods.Have the the four foot heater in the living room just about takes the edge of the cold. Its in no way a replacement for a good ole electric heater not even comparable to a 2kw heater.My aim was to be able to have a low wattage heater that i could run for longer.. So basically having this 250w heater I can run it for 4 hours for the same cost of a 1KW heater for 1 hour.The two foot heater keeps the hallway at a nice temperature and at 80 watts can keep it on for alot longer and helps to dry out the wet boots and jackets.I thoroughly recommend these heaters , but don't go thinking they produce a lot of heat, more of a mild heat that keeps the chill off, suitable for small rooms and any area to keep the chill off.I also have another in our bathroom which keeps it nicely warm and helps to keep the damp at bay.Hope this helps you all.

Currently on the floor of my Robinsons 8 x 10 leanto greenhouse. Cheap to run. Keeps a nice amount of heat to protect from frosts. Slimline

It's longer than I imagined it would be, but easy to install and unobtrusive. The tube gets pretty hot to the touch, so be careful where you place it. It will not make you space toasty warm, so if you're thinking of using it to get up to propagating heats, you'll be disappointed. It simply keeps the chill at bay during frosts, which is why I bought it for my little greenhouse/shed. It does this very well and has kept my frost-sensitive plants alive.

I put this item in my greenhouse and it worked fine for two and half months and then suddenly stopped working. I checked the plug fuse and electrical connection and all was fine. I sent a message to the seller and they said it was out of warranty (lasts only 1 month) and they would replace it after I returned the broken one to them. This item is 4 feet long and very fragile, and we had already dumped the box it came in. It will cost an arm and leg to return it, even if I could find a box and packing suitable to put it in. I see from reviews that many people have had the same problem. A 1-month warranty for an electrical item is ridiculous. I think it is a con because they know the product is unreliable and that not many people will bother to return it for the problems stated above.

I have 2 of these heating up 5 x 7m outside room and it's certainly taking the chill off, when the weather really drops in temperature this do have to work hard to keep it at a reasonable heat, but two of them on all the time draw little power and defo make it more bearable whilst outside.

Bought this heater for Log Cabin where I have my Model Railway layout. It works well in keeping the frost out of the cabin. Keeping the temp around 10C.Not brilliant for heating the cabin on a very cold day but I knew that when I purchased it. On very cold days & nights have to put a additional heater in the cabin.Great heater does what I wanted it too.

It is nice and compact and seems to operate well. however, the plastic housing at the end of the heater fell off after about two months without any impact or even contact.

Excellent value for money. The heat that this product was good. I had them in a garage to dry out a floor. I had them on all day for 1 week. Didn't cost much to run. I would recommend.
