I do my nails, just 3 fingers on my right hand to play guitar.I love this stuff. I think the mixture with a little acetone and it flows nicely. I can do several things layers that are clear and strong. I use the thinned liquid w/ powder to run in the gap Avery couple days. Keeps them looking "normal" and you can't see it feel the end of the acrylic.I'm getting the XL 240ml size next.Great stuff.

Love this product! Its great for a beginner trying this out at home. I will need more of the liquid before I finish the powders but that's okay. The price is great for what you get. I will end up getting a different brush to use that will hold form better.

I got this starter set to try dip powder! Loved how easy it was to use, the colors were what I expected. However, I did a lot of reading and video watching to learn, and I was surprised this did not have all the necessary liquids. I quickly bought a set of liquids, same brand, and my nails turned out perfect! I do wish the instructions were a little more clear for the set I received. For my first time, they were great. Lasted 2 weeks, but then I did some yard work. They may have lasted longer if I had worn gloves. Since buying this I tried another, cheaper brand. Did not like the other brand. I think the powders are all about the same, but I did not like other brands top coat at all. This one is better, dries quicker and only needed 1 coat (although I will reapply top coat every few days) highly suggest this brand! Just make sure you buy the other liquids, primer, top coat. Suggest buying same brand, as they are better. Would give a 5 star rating if it was a complete kit.

This product saved my life because I learned to do my nails myself at home since I don't have time to go out to do them and it's spectacular it made me pregnant

As someone who's truly a beginner to acrylic nails, I may not be the best person to judge the full quality of this kit—but I’ll share my experience as a novice!The kit comes with a decent selection of tools and products, which is great for someone just starting out. That said, I'm still learning proper application techniques, so I’ve had some trouble getting the acrylic to stay on my nails without chipping. It's possible that is because of my skill level than the actual product, but it’s worth noting for other beginners who might be in the same boat.One thing I’d caution about is the essential oils included for cuticle care. Definitely make sure to mix them with a carrier oil before applying. I used them directly on my cuticles and had an odd reaction—mild irritation that cleared up in a couple of days, but still something to be aware of.Overall, this kit seems like a solid place to start if you’re new to acrylic nails, but expect a bit of trial and error as you learn.

I know you keep seeing this but, this is actually perfect for a beginner! I was super skeptical but went for it anyway. I had my nails done professionally a few weeks ago and it was time to fill them. Decided I didn't want to spend $30-60 to get them filled in so I tried my luck with this product.At first, it was clumpy and I thought I had wasted my money, but then I decided that maybe I had not wet the brush enough, turns out that's exactly what the issue was. I let it sit in the liquid a bit longer and even wet the brush after applying the acrylic to help smooth it out better. I was really please with how it came out! Next I dried it with a nail light and shaped it with a nail drill. Finally painting it with the gel nail polish that I also purchased from Amazon. As far as I am concerned, it looks close enough to a professional job that I will NEVER, pay to have my nails done again!The only disappointment is the size of the product, but, it doesn't take a lot of product to get the job done so that isn't a huge deal. Overall, I am very satisfied! I'll add some before and after pictures to this review.

So this was my first time using acrylic powder on my own. I got my nails “professionally” done about 2.5 weeks ago and wanted to fill them myself. I bought this kit and finally used it today. I dropped my first 3 beads, which didn’t stress me because…this is my very first time. The first nail I did, I used far too much product for a fill but as I did each nail it was easier and easier. It does dry REALLY fast, even if you redip the brush to help smooth—so beginners beware. You gotta be fast lol. I also got flustered and forgot to use a dehydrator/bond beforehand. Oof. But I was pleased with the product and its contents as a whole. Hopefully my second time around will be much smoother. Also—invest in an electric nail drill if you don’t already.
