Nutmeg State Pizza Company Sourdough Pizza Dough Mix - Makes 3 Crusts for Homemade Pizzas

This product meets and surpasses expectations! It was easy to mix using my stand mixer, refrigerating for the time required and the rolling out the dough. I made a 9x13 deep dish with 5 toppings & cheese.We have NEVER HAD a pizza this good.Used Amazon’s pizza sauce also.

I just started making pizza's at home about a year ago and I've been buying dough from Albertson's or Trader Joe's until now. I had never made my own dough and I was a bit nervous about how it would come out. I used a little hand mixer with the two baby hook inserts and gave it a go. It says this package makes 3, 10" pies but I don't do 10" pies so I chopped the dough in half to make the perfect 15" pie. I was absolutely blown away by the way crust that came out! It was the best pizza dough I've ever had in my life! It came out laser thin and crispy the way you want it. I also love the fact that you can hack the dough recipe with whatever ingredients you want to experience in your pizza. I will never go back to store bought pizza dough in my life! Do yourself a favor and jump on this ASAP if you love pizza and are tired of the crap that you get from the pizza places near you. You will never go back to doing it any other way.

Full disclosure: I have not yet tasted the pizza - making it now and I will update this if it is bad, otherwise I'm currently writing this on the presumption that the quality is good.My issue is this: I've wanted to make this multiple times over the past months and can't because it requires a minimum of 7 hours advance prep time. That's important for working parents to know.Secondly, and this is what really prompted me to write this review: it calls for 9 oz of water. Who measures in ounces? I've had to look up conversions to cups (1.125 cups) and then look up conversions of 0.125 cups to tablespoons (2 tablespoons) -- and it's like, why? Why not just print this product with practical, user-friendly directions to begin with?Excuse my venting. It's an easy fix and hopefully this will help someone else.

I even froze some for later use, and it worked!

Easy to use.

We have tried nearly everything here and this dough is the winner with the kids and parents! We par bake it for about 4 minutes and then do sauce and toppings and it gives it a great crunch! We’ve let it sit for a few hours and used it right after and it was great, but if you can make it and let it sit overnight it makes a huge difference.

Very easy but 3 pizzas? No, it made one good size one and was very good.

I am wheat intolerant (not celiac) but found that sourdough is fine. This pizza mix is EXCELLENT! It makes three pizzas but I only wanted to make one at a time so contacted them. They responded immediately and answered my questions. Great customer service. Will be ordering more!!
