Just what I wanted
This is what they have in America, not actually connected it yet, but had a look, lie ours, this one is plastic, and needs a key to reset it. I am happy, nice price too

Broke straight away
I bought this for my son who has ASD. He is obsessed with fire alarms. As soon as we took it out of the box a spring came flying out of it. On further inspection I realised that this spring is what holds down the 'activated' sign. So now it doesn’t work at all

This really is good it came with a key and the quality of it is a 5/5 i think people should buy this.

My son has been fascinated with fire alarms ever since his first fire drill at school. To satisfy his curiosity I decided to build him his own fire alarm. I bought a cheap siren/strobe and this pull station and connected them with a couple op-amps and a relay in lieu of a $1500 control panel. So, the inside of this thing is a 4-way bridge rectifier. Even though there is a “+” and a “-“, it wouldn’t matter if you were to wire it backwards. The circuit is open normally, and basically passes through 2 diodes, a red LED and 1k resistor when pulled. I didn’t want to dim that LED (it’s visible externally when pulled) so I connected a 100 ohm resistor in series and amplified the voltage drop across that 100 ohms up to the point where it could switch a relay and drive the strobe. My son is happy, and this pull station worked well for me. Unfortunately I can’t tell you how it would work with a proper control panel.

I have tried several things to keep raccoons out of an upper storage area. I had some boards and plywood stored there, and they ruined it all. Let alone the "trinkets" they leave behind, and the smell. I saw this and thought it might be a solution to my problem. A loud siren and flashing lights might work. I mounted one of these sirens to a plastic ammo box along with an outside light motion sensor, toggle switch, and night light. Inside is 110VAC to 24VAC transformer. The sensor detects motion, powers the transformer, and the alarm goes off. The sensor is set for minimum time and maximum sensitivity The switch is to turn off the 24VAC to the alarm, and the night light goes to the output of the motion sensor. Turn off the switch to test the area or if you need to do something that would set it off. It has gone off, usually times between dusk and 3AM or so. I have yet to re-clean out the scat from up there to find out ow well it is doing, but I have hopes. As I said- it is an ear blaster.

Lo compré para un cuarto friki y la verdad es que está genial. Eso si, depende de la idea que tengáis, dado que es un interruptor de incendios real... necesitaréis quebraros más la cabeza xd

My son has been fascinated with fire alarms ever since his first fire drill at school. Rather than have him want to pull a pull station there, I made him his own fire alarm with this siren/strobe and a pull station, and a bit of custom circuitry in between. The siren is loud enough to be uncomfortable when in the same room, but not intolerable. The lights are just standard red LEDs, not particularly bright. But when it gets 12 volts, it lights up and makes sound, not bad for the cost. I was particularly surprised that in fire-truck mode, as the pitch goes up and down, the flash rate of the LEDs changes as well. It was the cheapest siren/strobe I could find, and it worked just fine for my needs.

I put this on a piece of wood with the siren and LED strobe light just so I can pull it any time I like for the fun of it! It works real good wires up great I have it hooked to 4 18650 batteries with a charge on it to keep it charged it is just used at a toy, but if you were replacing one of yours with it, it works great easy install has two keys. Has Loop in connections for power and to hook up another to another unit else where. very easy pull time and easy to reset if you have the key. Worth buying and I would consider buying another one!
