Why did you pick this product vs others?: These are really beefy and can hold a lot of weight even when fully extended. I used several sets to add pull-out shelves under my garage workbench and they work great, with smooth slide action.

Used these to mount a Halo Elite 1B gas griddle in the space where the travel trailer’s outdoor kitchen mini-cube refrigerator was. Now we can slide the griddle out when making pancakes, smash burgers, etc, and slide it back in when done. Slides are study enough that I had to reinforce the floor they attached to: that flexed before the slides did! Picked these because they over-extend a significant amount, but still have a high capacity rating. With a 3/8” plywood shelf across them, they don’t wiggle or have play. Even fully extended, the griddle is solid. These would be great for any number of projects.

Though the box was torn at arrival due to the heavy weight of these bad boys, they installed and work very well. I’m using them in a 36”deep closet to house very heavy vintage sewing machines and they work very well. They came without instructions in my case, so I just used common sense to install.

Seems torsionally rigid. This is the 40" version and fully extended it droops a bit, even without the load on it. I don't know of anything out there, unless it's from NASA that might be a bit more robust. It is heavy. This will work with most projects as long as you allow for the droop.
