Exceptional quality. A total joy to use!
I’ve had this wok for 4 months and I absolutely love it! I use it 3-4 times a week and it gets better and better. It’s fantastic quality and super thin so it heats up quickly and evenly. I use a metal pan scourer to clean it, just with hot water (definitely don’t use detergent to clean it it you remove the natural seasoning that builds up over time. This makes the natural non stick quality of the spun iron even better!). Ignore any bad reviews; if you use this wok properly it’s really brilliant.

Wok this way
For me, whoever designed this wok got everything right.I don't have a big dedicated wok burner and ring, so it has to be flat bottomed - a round wok and separate ring arrangement doesn't work to my mind. And the bottom is flat. My previous carbon steel wok had a 'flat' base, but it tended to tip over all the time. The new one is very stable, and because it's heavier than some - but not excessively so - it stays in place: you can stir without gripping the handle at all. A single handle is a no-brainer as far as I'm concerned. I can see the argument for two handles on one of those huge oil-filled woks you see out east, but two is just an affectation on a small wok.I'm already sold on seasoned cast iron cookware - I recently bought a Lodge skillet that works brilliantly - and I think the cast iron concept works really well here too. If you follow instructions (no detergent) you well get a rich bronze non-stick patina. Of course you also get even heat distribution. There are a couple of other nice touches. There is a lip around the wok that makes it easy to pour out liquids and sauces, and the flat centre of the pan is small enough to 'pool' the oil for frying whole spices and brown-frying onions for curry bases.Admittedly it's quite expensive, but I haven't found anything quite like it on the market. A triumph.

Well worth it.
This is a really nice wok. Replaced another I've had for 18 years... which was necessary because I recently upgraded to an induction cooker and my old one was just too thin to use effectively on induction (red hot on the base, little or no conduction up the sides). This, being made of a decent thickness of iron, is just the ticket. And very good value compared to the alternatives.

Do not bay this item it’s very poor quality and overpriced
Very low quality product and overprice.Do not bay this item it’s very poor quality and overpriced. The inside it is not polished so there are pieces of metal that they can very easily detaches when you are cooking with a risk to swallow them. I’m very disappointed with quality and service from this seller. I requested a refund and I’m still waiting for an answer. Very slow service.STAY AWAY from this seller

I needed a well made wok for a induction hob. As the cast iron is spun so its not to heavy and easy to use with one hand and its stable on the hob. The flat base is perfect for the induction and gives great contact and does not buckle or warp when the heat is high. Good to see its made in the UK too.

Keep clear, very cheap and nasty
It looks like very small slivers of metal stuck all over it and when put on the heat the bottom just bowed within a matter of seconds. It is also not iron but pressed steel.Very light weight, not worth £10.00 and let alone £50.00
