HALO4 inch Quicklink Canless LED Downlight Selectable 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K CCT – White (4 pack)

Wanted to replace a dual 4' fluorescent tube fixture in our condo kitchen with something more modern and functional.I learned about Halo's Quicklink lights and decided they would be the easiest option for me to install. I opted for the recessed lights over the flush version as my wife has complained in the past about glare from lights while watching TV in the adjacent room. The recessed lights require a little more clearance above the ceiling drywall to fit whereas the flush mount lamps are essentially the same thickness as the drywall and can be installed below a ceiling stud. The lack of cans really makes installation in an existing ceiling a breeze. They were still quite easy to install using the included instructions and the many installation videos viewable online.Our kitchen is small so I went with the 4" versions. It was a little tricky to get my hand up through the 4" hole to screw mount the little control boxes, but it was doable. The 6" version might have been easier for my fat hands, but the 4" looks and works better in our kitchen. The single wiring point and Quicklink connectors made the install go quickly and it's nice to know that we can add another lamp to the chain if we decide we need more light.I was a little worried when I read that the recessed lamps output less light than the flush versions, but my worry was unwarranted. The four lights look great, light up the whole kitchen nicely, and can't be seen directly from the adjoining rooms. The select-able color temp is really nice and let me choose a temp that provided good contrast while working as well as a comfortable light.I'm definitely happy with Halo's Quicklink lamps and would not hesitate to purchase and install them again.

I'm a Electrical Design Engineer, who designed lighting systems for the past 20 yrs or so. I actually did a lighting calculation on my own Bathroom where I was renovating it. The lumen output exceeded the lighting calculation about 20% more output. The really Cool Factor about these lights is the (3) color temps, (2700K, 4000K & 5000K) I chose 4000K, which is excellent for a restroom. I also liked the Easy installation, using the (4) lights connected by Low Voltage. Just wire the 120V to the junction box/controller that comes with the lights and it's all Low Voltage downstream to each light.Highly Recommend!

These cans are easy to install and work great. We have added them to every bedroom and now the garage as well. Very bright, soft white. We used a dimmer and it’s a nice update.

Pretty easy installation. Love the color temp selectability. Trailing edge phase cut dimmer doesn’t go as dim as I might like.

These are really easy to install and make the hall look great. Have some others in my living room and they were just as easy to install and brighten the room great.

My foyer had a cheap contractor fixture, so I looked for several weeks for a nice chandelier for under $250. I gave up. And, I decided to install these Halo fixtures instead. I am so glad I did. It took me 30 minutes to measure my layout, 30 minutes to cut the holes and 30 minutes to install the lights. Great result. Great look. Also, I installed a dimmer switch to let me set the light level with one finger whenever I want. I highly recommend this product. No electrician required. No carpenter required. Great product. Affordably priced.
