Just what I needed
This brace is the best for typing on the computer. It also has been the best for helping my wrist not move so much with pain.

Functional brace, streamlined
Update:The metal splint is movable. The pockets have an internal, non-visible slit that I couldn’t find by feel at first. Once I found them, it worked well for either hand. This was user error, not quality control. I’m glad I realized this because I especially liked that this splint isn’t bulky, it’s more streamlined than most others I’ve tried. It is a bit snug for me,a woman with large hands, so I suspect it would be too tight for anyone with larger hands. Otherwise, a good deal.Old review: The brace feels adequate for the purpose. However, the removable metal splint was sewn into the pocket, so the brace can only be worn on the right hand. The pocket where it would be inserted for the left hand was also sewn shut. Since I needed a left hand brace, this one is going back. The packaging does say to switch the splint from one pocket to the other to switch hands, but it doesn’t mention that you have to deconstruct the whole brace to do that. Poor quality control.

Versatility
It is convertible from a left hand to the right hand by simply moving the metal portion. I don't have to by 2 separate brace for left and right.

Comfortable, washable, with just enough flexibility
I really love this brace! I have a joint disorder (EDS), as well as carpel tunnel, so I sleep in wrist braces. I've tried several different brands, but during my last move I couldn't find where I put them. I decided to try this one out, and I'm glad I did! It's my new favorite wrist brace. It provides decent support with the metal insert. It curves over your wrist, and nestles on your palm. There is a nice "sleeve" so you slide your hand in, then attach the straps. The sleeve helps keep the brace in position, but also keeps the straps from rubbing your skin. The main brace has a couple velcros, so you can adjust based on how tight (or loose) you want it.This will NOT fully immobilize your wrist/hand. If you are looking for something with more structure and support, this isn't it. I love this because it provides enough support to sleep in, but is also flexible enough (and comfortable enough) to wear during the day when typing or drawing. If I was trying to immobilize a sprain or more serious injury I would try something more structured. For day to day use, this is perfect.THUMB TENSION - A reoccurring issue I've noticed with wrist braces is they sometimes put too much pressure on the thumb joint in order to stabilize the wrist. This brace does NOT do that. I have fully mobility in my fingers, and don't have to worry about my thumb dislocating or bruising.I initially bought one brace, but will be ordering a 2nd one for my other wrist soon! They are reversible, I just want to use them on both wrists at the same time.(Bought independently with my own money)

Excellent brace
I created a problem in my wrists and thumbs from the way I used the computer, so I needed a brace that truly would not let me bend my wrist while typing. This is comfortable and does the job! I even sleep in it sometimes and I'm comfortable.

Wrist Help
I have used these braces on my wrists for a long time. I have a tendency to curl my hands in and tuck them under my face when I sleep....not a good position for anyone who has wrist/potential carpel tunnel issues.I like to think they are part of my not having to have shots in my wrists.

Works Fairly Well
I had another brace that after several months of use during working hours fell apart. Looking for something more durable I selected this one to try.It feels more durable than the cheaper brace that fell apart, but does not feel as supportive. It allows my wrist to move more than I would like. This has caused pain only one time when lifting an item caused my wrist to move too far. After that one time it has not happened again but the other brace had thick material around the wrist area that cradled the wrist and made it feel wrapped and supported.I have tried pulling the Velcro straps as tight as I can to limit wrist movement and to make it feel more supported but it did little to do so. Using the metal brace in this might prevent more wrist movement but would also not allow me to use that hand during work which I must do.All in all is works fairly well.
