Good read for intermediate level VoIP people
This is a good read for those with an intermediate level of telecom and VoIP technology. Chapters 3 & 4 cover sip and rtp in the kind of detail that will bring your diagnostic skills (when it comes to reading VoIP packet captures) up a few levels. If you are a beginner, read this after you have had a little experience reading this stuff in Wireshark otherwise your eyes will glaze over. Covers Cisco Skinny enough for you to know it when you see it.

Interesting history but too specific.
Probably not the book you want if you plan on wanting to get up and running quickly.

Almost no info in this book
This book has nearly no info in it. If you want to have learn something about VOIP then save your money on that one.

Best book for foundations of VOIP, SIP and how it bridges old technologies
I recommend, that anyone trying to work with Asterisk, 3CX or any of the other PBX solutions reads this book first.
