These are excellent chocolates with marzipan inside. My muisic students loved them.

Exactly what I was looking for (present)

This is the Mozart candy from Austria. It has a more delicate and refined taste than a similar product from Reber made in Germany. These Mirabel chocolates have a delicate and delicious marzipan and pistachio center. If you cut it in half, you can see the neat layers, much like looking at a cross section of the earth. If you take your time and savor the flavors, you will notice the subtle changes in flavor as you melt your way through the layers. The Reber brand, while delicious (and cheaper), is a bit more coarse in texture and almond/marzipan forward with none of the subtleties of this candy. If you are gifting or sharing with folks that chomp through their candy, you may want to give them Reber instead--the nuances of this particular chocolate might be lost on them. The coin shaped candies in this set are more chocolate forward with the smooth marzipan as a thin filling.
