I can't say enough about how the books by the Ruiz family have transformed my life. If you've read any of the other books by these authors you will want this one as well. If you've never heard of the Ruiz family, jump in her and you will want to read the rest of their catalog of titles...

Good deal. Kindle is very simple to use. The book is satisfying because of the ability to heal. Also because of the idea of serious things being just ideas to wise shamans.

In all my 45 years studying personal growth, this book seemed to touch on various Toltec methods that coincide with others around the world. Fascinating 😇

A must read for everyone! So much awareness shared in the human’s addiction to suffering. Easy to read, so much to relate to. It’s a book of liberation. Thank you don Jose Ruiz for creating and sharing. 💛

I’ve had the chance to attend classes and retreats with Jose and this is the next best thing. He writes with great heart, clarity, and truth.

I bought the book as a birthday present for a friend. As we share October birthdays, I took the gracious offer of re-upping my Audible subscription, as a birthday gift to myself. I was given Don Jose’s father’s “The Four Agreements,” as a birthday gift from a friend when it debuted. I took both gifts as signs and welcomed whatever was to come with either of them.This book offers poignant wisdom based on Toltec tribal beliefs. I wouldn’t call it “religion” because that term is now polarizing. It’s not religion. It is more of a code on conduct to me. We can all use some good advice. The trick is always: “Are you listening?”I am. Don Jose hit a homer with this one because he is speaking to us through his own life experiences. And they are Every Man trials and ups-and-downs. To go through Hell and rebound into a Lightness of Being so profound, it must be told. Are you listening? Read this and see. There is not pontificating or finger pointing. That not how the Toltec teach their children. I’ve learned so much in one - honestly - short book. 5 chapters with a Foreword that compels you to want the rest of it. You will either want to listen, or disregard and remain in your denial and darkness.Don Jose literally justifies all of our freedom to accept, dream, see, and forgive. These words may sound trite or redundant at first, but the Toltec have a much deeper belief system that honors its Ancestors, who are alive in us all, as we stand here today.I learned more about what I’ve been doing right all along, which has yielded great resolve to re-address some old wounds and missteps. In short, Don Jose just saved me thousands of dollars on a counselor I didn’t need. He and his venerable, 500 Years of Ancestors put me straight in a language I embrace and comprehend. You will, too.

I was half way through this book when a friend messaged me suggesting a book they thought I would like. It was The Four Agreements written by Don Jose Ruiz's Dad! A coincidence? I don't think so. I think many of us are waking up to the realisation that we can live lives free from suffering.
