Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons: Live in Concert

This concert is absolutely superb, eye-wateringly so! I've had this stored on a VHS tape recorded from the TV in 1992, and had only just thought about looking for a DVD of the same. The DVD is also 76 minutes long, whereas the TV VHS version was only 50 minutes (and probably included adverts).Perfect quality, in glorious stereo sound, very clear, with lovely deep bass as well! Frankie and his Gang at their very best! No wonder they were so popular. Well-deserved success, go Frankie, go! - or, to quote Dion, 'Yo Frankie!'Obviously in the original 4:3 format, which is what we had on standard TV during those pre-widescreen 16:9 days. Recorded at 25 fps (frames per second), the European PAL standard, NOT at 30 fps NTSC American version.If you see this and are in doubt, do so no longer, buy, buy, buy!

I love this DVD, saw Frankie Valli and the 4 seasons years ago and he and they are brilliant, unassuming bit shy but polished and all the songs are there-this DVD is just great , saving up to buy another from earlier years. Long Live Frankie Vallli! Oh have seen The jersey Boys in London and thats wonderful!

having been a fan of the four seasons since the early 60s and having seen The Jersey Boys Show in London I purchased this from Amazon last week.It is a brilliant DVD and The Group and the Sound are Fantastic. The Songs are all Full Length and I cannot recommend it highly enough. A Real Treasure.

I was really disappointed with the quality of this. Had it on video years ago. There seemed to be 6 seasons instead of 4 none if who were the original.Considering the advances in dvd quality I expected better. You can see the effort put in by the group, however it was let down by a bad recording.

I was concerned that a American region 1 DVD wouldn't play on my system. No proiblem - it plays very well and I've enjoyed watching it a few time now.
