The pieces are chunky, they feel good to manipulate. The colors are tasteful pastel, which both I and my kids preferred to the usual garish colors kids' toys use. Note: it doesn't come with any actual puzzles like Tangram sets usually do. But there are thousands of them available online, and we just used those.

Love the esthetics of the puzzle. So cute!!! My daughter really enjoys playing with it!

Very simple and nice little puzzle. It’s for kids but even I enjoy doing it. It’s harder than I expected but I like it because it really encourages critical thinking and creativity.

I like to collect toys & puzzles for the grandkids to play with when they come over, & I'm not gonna lie, we have tons of fun checking the stuff out to see if it's suitable for the grandbabies or not.We liked this one, because.. Well come on, who doesn't like desserts? We just weren't sure how our grands were going to react to it since once you removed the piece it just seemed to be a blank blob of empty shapeless space beneath it. Would the be able to tell what went where or would they just say "eww" and walk away.As expected the newborn & 1 year olds dont do puzzles.. 2 year olds might try but they are more into throwing, putting things into their mouths, running and playing. The 3 and 4 year olds, they enjoyed putting this together for awhile though and my 5 year old granddaughter loved playing "I'm a Cooker!" with this set, I mean, it comes complete with its own tray and everything lol.It has gotten a lot of use in our house already, maybe not in the way the manufacturer intended, but growing and expa ding their minds and imaginations is one of the most important things you can do.

This little puzzle is simple enough it will not be too frustrating for a child, yet also challenging enough to really make them think outside the box to solve it. I'd say you could start trying this with a toddler by 2-3 years old, and see how they do with it. Even if they can't figure out how to fit everything in the square at first, they'll enjoy playing with the colorful pieces.The quality is good, and the pieces are smooth and well-painted. This is a nice size for traveling, and would be a perfect toy for occupying them at a restaurant before food comes. I wish it included a drawstring bag to keep all of the pieces together, though. That would make it a lot easier to slip in a diaper bag or purse.Overall, a nice puzzle to introduce some more complex concepts to your toddler!

Item arrived as pictured but packaging was quite cheap and no instructions or anything inside a shrink wrapped clear plastic package.Would have been nice if there were 3 sets of those little thingies instead of 2 as then you can play real tic-toc.Very limited number of pieces with a small board shouldn't be advertised as "Learn Shapes, Colors, & Math Symbols for Preschool Kids, Boys & Girls Ages 2-4"A child under year or year and half would be interested in this toy but anyone 2+ yrs old would probably get bored within 5 mins.

Love this cute little puzzle board. It’s great for my two year old to work on his matching skills and is well made while also being light weight. I would definitely recommend this! Quality is good and it is appropriate for two and up!
