It arrived and I actually ended up having a read through before wrapping, it’s an excellent book. Really great illustrations and information on various aspects of the game, it also explains some of the various competitions very well and in a way that’s easy to understand. I asked my nephew if he’d enjoyed it and he said it was great, he loved learning about some of the historic goals and facts about football. It’s written in a way that’s engaging and the illustrations add an extra element of visuals, for what you’re reading about. Would definitely recommend, for anyone who’s of a capable reading level and wants to learn some interesting facts about football; or for if a parent wants to read to their child as I’m sure adults who love football would find it interesting too!

A present for a football mad 9 year old who is enjoying the book, reading and rereading

My 6.5 yo got into football and so enjoying this as a light read. It's got a lot of basic stats, some maybe outdated. But I like it's got him reading compard to when you let them look things up on tablets and they get side tracked with clips so no reading or games.

Excellent book on all aspects of Football, ideal for a younger reader, plenty of pictures and cartoons. All taking the subject seriously.

Very detailed!
I bought 2 of these books for my little cousins for Christmas. I’ve had a flick through myself before wrapping and I can’t believe how impressive it is! From history, rules and formations to diets, stretching and movement this book truly covers every base. I really can’t speak highly enough of it. It’s also vibrant and basic enough for kids to understand and not get bored of. 10/10
