Our five year old is enjoying them, but the beautifully drawn animations, sense of humour, entertaining selection of voices and some catchy music give them adult appeal too. Some children's tv series are horribly inane and irritating to adults. Sharing a programme with them means you can discuss it later and relate it to other things. The dvd has six of the Tinga Tinga stories: 1. Why Lion Roars 2. Why Owl's head turns all the way round 3. Why Tickbird sits on Hippo's back. 4. Why Frog Croaks 5. Why Vulture is Bald 6. Why Giraffe has a long neck. Like Bagpuss, these will still be popular forty years from now - save them for your grandchildren!

I ordered this item adhoc as i was sending a gift to my 4year old son. Very fast delivery, original and well packaged. My son loves it to bits and we have been enjoying it as a family. If you are looking for cartoons that will make the whole family join a happy watch, then go for this.I will be ordering more for Xmas. higly recommend

Bought for my 3 year old son who is a big fan of Tinga tales. THis is a great collection and he loves watching over and over.

These are a lovely collection of tales, beautifully animated and well thought out. I'm in my forties,(I bought these for my nephews)and I love the stories as much as the kids do!They are definitely suitable for the whole family to watch. Just be warned the theme music is very catchy and you may find yourself in a meeting or in the office humming "Tinga Tinga" when somebody asks "Why?".

The entire households LOVES Tinga Tinga! This DVD starting with the Lions Roar is the best one for us - love the stories, they are funny and enjoyable. It's also really nice spotting some famous british voices in there too!

Wish all 51 episodes were available to buy. Can't recommend for children of most ages. My son still loves these 3 years later at 3 and a few months. Striking colours, fun music and great morals, all in snappy 15 minute bursts or available to play on a loop if you choose. Can't recommend enough!

Bought this for my grandson for Christmas, he loves the Tinga Tinga tales and apparently has not had it off, lovely present, good value .

I purchased this for my 3 year old Grandson in New Zealand. Sadly it could not be played as it was for a different region - of which I was unfortunately totally ignorant. However my daughter sourced them on U-Tube & Albert is transfixed!!
