Cheap solution
This is a cheap solution to lighting my gas cooker. They are very dependable, and you can buy flint refills for them!

Handy but...
Nice and easy to use once you have set the tension on the flint stricken correctly. The back falls off but I find it easier to use with it off.

Gas lighter
it's alright takes a bit of practise to get it sparking well enough to light the gas. We had one similar when I was a kid in the 50's which I remember as being more robust and more sparky. It had a screw to hold the flint. This has a plate holding 3 flints that wear down one at a time. Rotate the plate for a fresh flint.

Twisted Fire Starter ...
Purchased as a potential alternative for Swedish Fire Sticks (ferro rods) for instructing scouts/cubs/Beavers to light campfires using char cloth and dry fibrous materials.Works a treat with small hands which struggle to get the ferro's to spark! Smaller than small hands might still struggle ~ but that might be lessened by either having bigger hands hold it whilst they press or by tying the sparker securely onto something ....

Would have rated these ZERO.....beware.
I should have taken a photo first before they went into the bin. I also should have taken heed of the other poor reviews as I had the same experience with them. They are hard to hold and use but the main issue is the terrible quality of construction. They both broke, on the same side, so I had to keep trying to fix the arm back into position. Not a good thing when you have a flame burner gas flowing and you have to try and fiddle with this rubbish. I used hundreds of these on the Australian mines...during shutdown work...and never a problem. Pay just a few £££ more and save yourself the hassle and replacement.

Very good bit of kit
Bought these as I can NEVER find a lighter when I need one - affordable enough to leave on in the BBQ and another in the shed. Would buy again
