It`s so much pain free and easy!
I love this product and it makes the process of waxing so much easier for me. It might sound ridiculous to some, but the wax takes most of the pain away for me, as I used to use my epilator to tear my hair from the roots as I like the afterwards feeling..comparing with how it feels when I used to use the blade to shave there.. is much better. No hair feeling that lasts about 2 weeks for me and I wont ever go back to shaving as I cant stand the fact that the hair follicle grows thicker and faster and so on.. So waxing is the best for me. At least I know I suffer for a short while and enjoy the benefits for an extended amount of time. Then to just shave every day and then get the itchy feeling when the hair grows back (which is immediately the next day). It is just awful. This wax is perfect for me. My only regret is that it does n`t come in a bigger container. I also like the fact that it includes the oil which I always use before waxing (for preventing the wax to stick to my skin too much..). A small tip that I would give for all the girls out there is: collect the sticks from ice cream (if you do indulge with an ice lolly that is..) I always wash them and keep them for my waxing process :)) It is a great way of not running without these things, as the wax comes only with two and I do throw them away after each use. And yes, I reheat mine and use this wax more than twice..because it is only me using this so I don't see any problem with this. Although I don't exaggerate using it over and over until the end of time..so I might say that maybe I reused my last one for about 7 times or so..after that..I had to order I new one :p So yeah..my only complaint is that the container is not bigger than that. With me it takes about 1 hour or so to but this is only because of the wax`s temperature. It has to be warm and not too hot to be safely applied on my skin. And because of this I have to reheat it quite often and then wait to cool down if it has too, over and over, which slows the process down. But I am not bothered with this as I enjoy the benefits after. It is completely worth it! The secret is to have patience (not too burn yourself and to take the time to reheat it and wait until this cools down and is the appropriate temperature to go on your skin) and also to expect just a bit of pain (it is natural to hurt just a bit as you pull the hair from the roots). Good luck to you too! :)

Pretty good
Pretty good if you have used wax before, easy to use, may take a couple of attempts. Would say one or two uses, then it's messy and wants throwing out

Best wax I have ever used
When looking for bikini wax on Amazon, I was already sick of wax purchased online, as I had previously bought some roll-on wax on ebay that not only did not remove hair, but it also hurt like hell. (I really don't understand why) As you imagine, I was somewhat reluctant to buy the Surgi hard wax. When using it, however, things changed radically. The wax is absolutely amazing!! The label does not lie, that oil really makes it stick to hairs and not to skin! It is really easy to apply, it does not drip, it is almost impossible to burn yourself (if you follow the instructions), it removes hair perfectly... I really couldn't have asked for more. Many say it hurts less, and I have to admit that is true. However, that does not mean it doesn't hurt at all. There is plenty of pain, don't worry, but it gets better with time. I am absolutely thrilled with this wax. Admittedly, it would be rather expensive to buy enough to wax larger areas (legs, arms), but if used only for the bikini area it is really advantageous. I don't know what more to say about it, other than: follow the instructions word for word!! It says not to pull straight up, but back, and you should be really careful to do exactly that. My arm slipped and I accidentally pulled up, and although it removed all the hairs with no problem, I really bruised my skin. And I ended up walking like the geese in 'The Aristocats' for the next couple of hours. All in all, it is a wonderful product!! And it smells nice too! My boyfriend smelled it when I was heating it up and, not knowing it was wax, told me something smelled like 'chocolate and honey and cookies'. Ok, maybe it doesn't smell THAT good, but it is definitely nice. Use with confidence.

too difficult to use
First of all it's a TINY pot - even for facial hair alone it won't go far. Secondly, it's just too awkward to use. Instructions say 60 seconds maximum on medium power in the microwave - utter rubbish, the wax at the top is still rock hard. I ended up heating it on full power for 3 minutes, then had to use the spatula to "flip" the wax over in the jar as the bottom half was liquid but the top was still solid. Which resulted in strings of wax draping everywhere. Another 2 minutes - so FIVE TIMES the length of time the instructions say - it was liquid enough to use. But even then, the spatula is small so you can't get much on there and it drags the skin on your face when you apply it. It doesn't go on smoothly at all because it's already going hard as soon as it leaves the pot! When it had cooled down it did take a few hairs off - but certainly not worth all the aggravation. I'll go back to wax strips, thanks - this stuff just isn't worth it.

Nice product for private parts. Removes unwanted hair efficiently. Only handle of the bottle is too small to handle. But loved the product.

I'm always suspicious of good reviews but this one is legit. It's the first waxing product I've ever used (first wax ever, never got it done professionally) but I am really happy with the results. The main thing to know is that this product works and I'd go as far as to say that it works very well. If it's your first time waxing or first self wax I would keep reading the rest of this, someone who knows about waxing could skip to the end but I'd recommend they read the microwave directions I have down below. Things you should know about this product: Microwave: This wax melts very fast and you will have to reheat it multiple times. What I did and recommend, is to use this product somewhere where you are near a microwave so you don't have to run back and forth between rooms to heat it back up. The microwave directions are a very general guideline, you will have to start on small settings and figure out what works best for your microwave. It melts from the middle so it might feel hard at the top but you have to keep poking at it and eventually it will cave in an melt into the rest of it. You want to melt the whole bottle, which will help it from harding as quickly, but be aware it melts from the middle and you can also push down the sides as you use it up so they don't harden and mess with the overall consistency. Technique: I made some mistakes as it was my first time and they were painful so you want to head these warnings, especially if it is your first time self waxing. 1)Pay attention to the direction of hair growth and when you pull off you want to pull directly in the opposite direction of hair growth. Pulling up is very painful and can cause bleeding in sensitive areas. 2)Work in small areas, especially in the sensitive areas with thick/coarse hair. 3)Map out what hair is getting removed and break it up into smaller workable sections and then do those sections one by one. You can avoid some irritation by doing areas that aren't right next to where you just waxed and if you go in there with no plan you will just get lost in the maze of hair like I did the first time and it will take longer. Helps to stretch the skin a lot and press down lightly on an area after you rip the strip off. Prepration: Research all the preperation and aftercare you'll need to do. It is a little more involved than I originally thought so you want to make sure you know what you're getting into and how to do it right. That's the main stuff you need to know. Overall, I am really happy with this product and I've bought a couple more of them already. After my first wax the hair took about 3 weeks to grow back and it came in much thinner (which I was pretty excited about because I have always shaved and everytime it feels like it comes back thicker and thicker). The second wax was much less painful, probably partially to do with improved technique and, unlike shaving where it starts growing back about as soon as you finish, everything is wonderfully smooth and stays smooth. I was looking for an alternative to shaving and found it. The price is great, it is a quality product. It grabs all the hairs and the only real concern I have is that, in the really sensitive areas, it has been healing a little funny for me but I can't really attribute it to the wax for sure. I would just be really careful in the sensitive areas, work in small areas and stuff. I have really thick coarse hair in really sensitive areas built up from years of shaving so if it works for me it will work for anyone. Highly recommended.

Very effective and easy to use.

First time I tried this Brand. Microwaveable wax is just my preference since I don't want to purchase wax strips, wax heater etc. The wax texture is so important to me. I like wax that's not too thin and sticky because it is hard to remove off from skin and nails. This brand -Surgi Wax is thick which is good for me and slightly sticky and it dries at the right time. Comparing to my Go-To Wax - Nair Pro Kit - Surgi Wax comes with a small bottle of oil where you have to apply it first before putting the wax onto your skin. Whereas the Nair Pro Kit has a small wet towel soaked in oil and you can use it after waxing session. Texture difference, Nair Pro Kit texture is harder when dried whereas Surgi wax is slightly hard and you can still pinch the wax without breaking ONLY on my bikini part. It also smells like a tea and aloe vera. So far this is my second brand favorite - microwaveable wax product in case Nair Pro Kit is not available.

Used to wax my bikini area. Works like a charm. I have used other wax before but never hard wax. It definitely is s superior product.
