The product info is confusing: it says "12 items" but you get one basket comprising 8 compartments. It's ideal for dishwashing 8 upside-down glass tumblers (see dimensions below*). I think it's designed for commercial use as it's very sturdily built, heavy, large and expensive, all compared to a domestic dishwasher's cutlery basket. It takes up half of my domestic dishwasher's upper basket (where the built-in rack's poor design means risk to glassware). * Thanks to Amazon customer Ian Seward for the dimensions: each compartment is 9 cm x 9 cm. My tumblers' diameter is 7cm.

The products were packaged well but one of two arrived damaged. I don't think it'll affect the functionality of the basket. The way they were bagged and bubble wrapped (several layers of wrap with no damage to the putter bags or bubble wrap, I assume it was shipped damaged which I would hope wouldn't be the case. I don't know because I wasn't there
