Replacement DCA1820 Battery Adapter Compatible with Dewalt 18V Tools

Had an old Dewalt drill that used the DC9096-8 style battery. They had given up the ghost and I purchased the new Xr system. This little gadget allows me to keep the old trusted drill and use the new XR batteries on it. I was sceptical at 1st but once it arrived popped it in the old drill fitted the new style XR batters and it worked a treat,

This adapter saved a very good Dewalt drill going in the bin it worked perfectlyFantastic

You might have to move the prongs to make it work but then it works fine

Exactly what I needed on my hardly used 2nd fix nail gun . Battery’s where knackered and only had new dewalt batteries so this was a no brainier.

This product allows you to fit the regular 18 volt battery to an existing 12 volt rechargeable tool. Once fitted and because it is secure fit,I would recommend you leave it fitted and purchase another adapter if need one.

Easy to take battery on and off. I have wrist and thumb damage and couldn't release the standard 18 volt battery from the drill independently anymore. This adaptive battery is easy to remove and has a londer life than an 18 volt

Attached easily to my dewalt drill attached battery and it worked perfectly.

Great for using DeWalt 20v batteries for Ryobi tools/fans. Word of advice, do not leave your Dewalt batteries plugged in, it will drain them.
