This will be the last caulking gun you will ever need to buy unless it is stolen by one of your envious co-workers. It is of super high quality and operates like a dream. You can also buy a cheaper brand at the big box store and fill up your garbage can as you will be continuously replacing it. BTW, the Puncture Pin is actually long enough to open all caulking tubes, not limited to those with short tips!

Does not have the advertised caulk tube prod on the side so you cannot open new tubes unless you have a deadicated rod or a different caulk gun.

I have been trying several different caulk guns over the past couple years and this one is by far and away the BEST! The extra room is allows to put the tube in and the ease of which you can dispense the caulk is amazing. the two settings are nice and allows for a more steady stream to apply the product. I will never buy a different one!

Fits well ergonomically, the push rod has little slop. I like that the cartridge barrel can rotate, helps with aligning the nozzle to the work surface.The gun has no piercing pin to puncture a fresh or old tube of caulk. Catalog photos show it has one, but mine doesn't even have the hole in the barrel for the rivet holding the piercing pin. Strange manufacturing miss, not sure how that got passed QC.

Have several of these, they work great and with the throw switch makes it super easy for single tube epoxy

I’ve had two others of this same model..but lost them. This newer one isn’t as smooth and refined as the previous ones I’ve had..although I haven’t actually used it. The switching lever on this newer one takes more force to switch and is kinda clunky feeling. Also it’s missing the seal puncture pin. Don’t make them like they used to as they say :/ I am returning this one.
