Excellent headphones, great sound quality. Would recommend

Expensive but work well

I'm going to start this off by saying that these are the most expensive headphones I've ever owned. As a rule of thumb I tend to buy whatever is on sale for £10-15 with the occasional £30-40 pair if I'm feeling flash. Saying that, I've definitely ended up using the cheap pair you get with phones when other pairs have died so I've got a fairly good idea of the difference between cheap, nasty headphones and a decent pair.Firstly, the packaging is really nice - much like Apple, Fender have realised that if you're spending more than usual on a product then you want that high-end experiance and that begins with the packaging. I've attached a couple of pictures below. The tube contained the headphones, a case, a small brush and tool for maintence, a selection of ear buds and a voucher for Fender's video channel.They are very comfortable headphones. I was sceptical at first - at the base of the headphones is a stiff section much like those clip over sports headphones which I'm really not a fan of - but it actually goes under your ear and you can barely feel it. I liked how it naturally sits in your ear - a lot of In-ears units I've used have felt like they're only staying because you've jammed them in hard but these seem to find a pleasant spot to settle which isn't halfway into your skull. This really helps with the sound quality - they provide probably the closest to a 'two decent speakers in a room' audio experiance that I've heard through headphones that I've owned. It's worth downloading an EQ app to your phone, if you haven't got one already, as these sound very balanced - both the highs and lows are noticably clear. Personally I like my audio with a slightly boosted bass but I'd rather it came from the EQ and not the headphones (yes, you're guilty Ministry of Sound) so a balanced sound is a joy. It's only when you experiance decent headphones that you realise that 'clean' and 'thin' are very different things. This sounds clean - cheap, in-the-box headphones sound thin.On that note, I used these for a two hour skype call with my employer and they were fine - I sounded clear and so did they.The remote works fine - there's not much you can say about a remote, really, unless it works badly. It's very simple with an up and down button for volume and a central start/stop/pause button set up. You can skip tracks using multiple presses of the centre button.So yeah, I'm more than happy with these. It's nice to not be hit with buyers remorse after a couple of weeks, which happens quite often to me, so I'd give it a thumbs up and reccomend them to anyone who wants to spend a little more on headphones.
