Tried different ways but didn't really bother the birds

We have an issue with Doves in our garden being pest, hopefully this reflective tape will work in scaring them away from garden

I thought, why not, what have I got to lose.You get a lot of tape for your money, although it’s not sticky, so you have to nail it down.Day 1: thought it was a winner. The birds looked confused.Every other day since: it’s a pigeon party in my garden. They’ve invited the sparrows too for a laugh. They sit on the tape and eyeball me through the window.Today the sparrows are actually peeling it off the fence whilst I glare at them at them.They won’t be laughing tomorrow when I buy a cat. Although, knowing my luck, the cat would probably join in.

Put around garlic flowers birds kept taking flower heads off

Did not work at scaring off wood pigeons on my trampoline. Hung strips and wraped it across the top to no affect. The wood pigeons must of been laughing at me while they sat on top of the tape, with it blowing in the wind right next to them. Just were not bothered by it. My trampoline ended up having more poo on it with the tape???Completely rubbish, waste of money! Ended up buying plastic spikes, which has been a winner. (No more bird poo). Go for the spikes not the tape if you have a trampoline!

I am afraid that maybe I misunderstood I thought it was sticking so it could be attached to items to keep the pigeons away.

Unfortunately the birds love it. I've put grass seed down and have about 20 strips of the take around the area using tent pegs. I have at least 4 pigeons and 2 black birds feeding on it at any given time
