Gosh! It's huge!For once I didn't argue with her as we gazed upon it enormous wonderfulnessness.Before I start, don't read this as criticism... I am as pleased as punch with this huge, 130mm, glass ball.Naturally I had ordered the biggest I could find for the least money for the size and, to be honest, maybe I should've gone for the 100mm or 80mm, rather than this 130mm beast, purely because its too big to carry on a photography jaunt really.It weighs almost 6 1/2 Britishness pounds, or almost 3kg foreign blasphemous.Actually, no, it's just what I wanted, but I'm just surprised at how large and heavy it is in reality, that's all. Might also get a 60 or 80mm ball for carrying, ahem, 'on location'.Looks to be perfect with no scratches or bubbles etc in the glass. Tiny stand too included on which it sits nicely, but I wouldn't trust it as an ornamental stand unless you're VERY sure it's not going to get knocked and dropped onto a hard surface.One thing... Seriously... Heed the warning often given in ads for these balls about not leaving them in the sun. I carried it outside and immediately felt considerable heat in the palm of my hand. Blimey! They weren't exaggerating! Put it on a scabby plastic garden chair and it started to warm up the plastic. Much excited, I put a stick behind the ball where the sun was more finely focused. Smoke and burning inside a minute. The Boy in me was impressed and further experimentation was indulged in.See the photos if I can successfully upload them.Very well packaged in polystyrene inside its box and inside an Amazon box.So... Very big and a good bit heavy to hold, carry etc., but will allow great ball lens photos, which is what I bought it for.PLEASE be careful where you keep it though,indoors or outside. It really can easily start a fire.
