It is perfect for us! Bought this for my mom to bring her a smile. It does the trick every time she sees it. The design is so cute, in our opinion. The color is also as shown in the picture. It is a good quality and a decent price for a door stopper. She uses it for her assisted living apartment, and the door is kind of heavy, but it holds the door with no problem and the flooring is a laminated vinyl, but he doesn't slide at all. The durability seems like it would last forever. As a door stopper, it does the job perfectly for us.

I love this little guy! He's so cute. I bought him to keep the door to my laundry closet open which is a lighter weight door with a higher clearance. The hinges must be newer and well greased as the door does not stay open on its own which was annoying when emptying the washer and dryer. I put rice in it to give it more weight. It holds my door open fine since it's light, but it may not hold a heavy door shut. I'm a bit on the creative side and like pops of color so I painted mine. It was pretty easy to customize. The paint adhered to the plastic well and I sealed it with clearcoat and haven't had any chipping after a year of use.

Very cute! Strong quality, have to fill to be heavy to hold a door. But worth the price! Non slip on the bottom. Medium size.

Cute and functional

I bought this little man doorstop because, let’s be honest, it’s cute as hell. The design is clever and fun. It looks like this tiny heroic guy is throwing his whole weight into holding the door open for you. Aesthetic wise it’s a 10 out of 10. It definitely gets a few laughs and compliments from people who walk by. Functionally though it’s just not made for the kind of door I needed it for. I work in a grocery store warehouse office with one of those massive industrial steel doors. It’s heavy, loud, and it swings with a vengeance. Unfortunately this little guy doesn’t stand a chance against it. The door either rolls right over him or pushes him out of the way completely. I’ve tried positioning him different ways but it doesn’t really help. He’s more of a decoration than an actual barrier. To be fair I don’t think he was built to handle doors that weigh more than some people. If you’re using it at home or for a lightweight interior door it might do the trick just fine. But for commercial or industrial use this isn’t the muscle you’re looking for. Still giving it three stars because it’s well made, charming, and probably works great in the right setting. Just not in mine.

This is a very cute door stopper. The base has this gel like material that prevents slipping. It is a light plastic. For under $10, it does it job and visually pleasing. It is not heavy and would not work on carpet.
