NOV: 7th 2025...I also have had the ISSUE with the bottoms of the bowls staining a browning color, used SOS pad it removed it. WARNING now one year later: DISCOVERED this evening: HUGE WARNING: THE MELAMINE COATING IS CRACKING & PEELING......I HAD TO THROW AWAY IMMEDIATELY ALL THE SET ONLY ONE YEAR AGO: MAKES ME SICK TO HAVE NOT REALIZED THIS HUGE ISSUE, I HAVE BEEN USING THEM FOR JUST OVER ONE YEAR. SHAME ON YOU MARTHA STEWART......... I WILL NEVER BUY anymore MELAMINE PRODUCTS. STICKING ONLY WITH CORRELLE DISHES ONLY> NOTICE DATES ON THIS WARNING: BOUGHT DATE WAS OCTOBER OF 2024 STARTING HERE: OKAY I FIXED THE ISSUE: I HAD AN IDEA TO TAKE A......SOS PAD with the soap, DAWN, and gently go over and over those rough places.......AND IT WORKED BEAUTIFULLY, SO in case any of you also get sent a USED SET OF DISHES try it. I NOW KNOW THAT THE GRAINY BUMPS ON THE PRODUCT HAD BEEN USED AND SETTING IS WATER WITH SOME UNKNOWN STUFF IN THE WATER< and whoever it was that had them just quickly rinsed the dishes off and dried them and put them back in the box and RETURNED THEM. YES I also SANITIZED in pure x solution, not strong as you do not want to fade or water down the COLORS..... THESE beautiful dishes would be perfect, "IF THEY DID NOT HAVE A MAJOR FLAW....as I unboxed one at a time, and they were not packed well at all, most of the pieces had so much room to rattle against each other it was shocking...a tiny thin sheet of see through tissue was between each piece???????? I think that I actually was sent a RETURNED SET OF DISHES. THAT is so cotton picking maddening, I spend a lot of money at AMAZON each year. I am 80 years old, and no car so when any product arrives at my front door, or parcel locker, I have no way to return it. So I try to be very picky about the brands I so buy. Okay all was great UNTIL I GO TO THE DINNER PLACES 3 of them HAVE A VERY FINE GRITTY SUBSTANCE THAT EVIDENTLY WAS BLOWN ON IT ALONG WITH THE SEALANT...it is very rough in those 3 plates.....so disappointing. I did have to re-order, but I am stuck with this set that is what it is. I live alone, do not have anyone for dinner ever, than a piece of pie etc and a cool drink in summer.

I had to, had to, have these. I was moving into a new apartment and could not resist. The print, the colors, all perfect for what I needed. I would have given them 5 stars rating however after using them over time, it's been over 3 months now, I've noticed that each of the bowls is stained on the inside. I have another type plastic bowl that we've had far longer than these and it is not stained inside the bowl. I did soak a couple in some vinegar solution a few days ago and that lightened it a little but didn't completely remove. I don't know what makes one kind of plastic different that another in respects. I do know that I like my things to stay in pristine condition as long as possible and stains bug me. I still like that pattern and colors (outwardly) and the shapes and design, just not the staining area of the insides of the bowls. Perhaps the manufacture can solve that by changing up the materials used to manufacture these. They're spendy enough (though this is the best deal I found on them anywhere I looked.).

Very nice pattern. I microwave also not going more than 2 minutes at a time and performs well with no detriment.

Never thought I would ever spend this money on plastic! They are pretty but the bowls look very cheap with the wrap. Reading these reviews now i need to decide if I'm returning them :(

Putchased as gift. Learned theyre not dishwasher safe however. Pretty but not a dishwashing fan

These plates are really pretty in the bowls, but they are plastic. I thought they were stoneware before I ordered them and they stain very easily would not recommend them.
