Marshall Middleton Bluetooth Wireless Portable Speaker
I had a difficult choice to make at a price range of about £200.00 And I read reviews and looked at demos and it ended up between the Bose Sound Link Revolve (Series II), Marshall Middleton, JBL extreme 3, Sony srs-xg300, Sonos era 100, the best reviews and demos was the Bang Olufsen Beosound A5 and is not very robust but has a hefty price tag of nearly £1,99.00 too high for me anyhow so I ended up getting the Marshall Middleton because it was in stereophonic and the others makes had one speaker and the Marshall Middleton got stereophonic sound it's got 2x20 watt base speakers, and 2x10 watt tweeters giving off 60 watts, the sound is true stereo and durable and rainproof and a couple of things not said in other reviews was the strap can be taken off or left on and has like a drawing pin screw and nut too hold it together and seems very strong I kept it off mine as l will only use in front room if you use it in the garden garage wherever I'd use the handle own perseverance it has a 3.5 aux connection for my mp3 player and a c-connection for charging I don't use it for Bluetooth but you can get a Marshall apps from the Marshall store the battery life is 20 hours and this is quite correct depending on how loud you play it the system has a battery indicator light letting you know what battery life is left and it has a treble and bass control up or down showing on the battery indicator light the volume shows up on battery light as well it has a good sound and volume for such a small speaker please don't expect these type of speakers to blow you away none of these things will, you will only get that from a top hi-fi so don't expect it. but for its size its a great little thing to have I am well pleased with it I like its compact portable size and an excellent product 5 star rating from me, Delivery was great (2 days) and it was delivered well packaged. Couldn't have ask for more?

Astonishingly Good !
I'm into my music. Always have been, and after over 50 years of being on this planet, I know what I like, and I like this Marshall Middleton speaker very much. I like nothing more than a dark room, eyes shut listening to my favorite music on a good hifi (Denon amp with Kef speakers, vintage sony seperates from 1979 with nice Warfdales), and to my surprise this speaker has just given me another option, but portable. I write this listening to Marillion's Misplaced Childhood, a masterpiece of music and lyrics I am intimatly familiar with and the delicate way the speaker handles the quiet and spoken passages just to spring into immediate life for the powerful sections. Well rounded sound with a definite emphasis towards rock. Looking forward to the garden during the summer and drowing out the neighbours radio 2 lol.In conclusion, I would say this speaker is well made, heavy with a nice feel to it. The sound is fantastic if you like your rock like me. Battery life looks very good so far and is easy to use. Only negative is the App, just doesn't want to work (Samsung S23Ultra), but really, who cares. It pairs perfect, bass & treble easy to adjust as is volume.Rock On !

Great sound
For its size I think it sounds amazing and it gets loud, it’s well built and I love the styling. A bit on the heavy side for carrying around but that’s the only negative I have.

No regrets!
What a speaker this is! I have an AV setup at home and quite particular about the kit I buy but the Marshall Middleton has a robust, high quality built, sounds great even at top end, no bells and whistles but serves its primary purpose extremely well! I originally purchased the Emberton 2 but returned it the same day as it didn’t have the punch I was looking for. The Middleton is definitely worth the extra money and is still a very reasonable price. It’s also not as big as some reviews make out and is small enough to fit in your rucksack when travelling (see image). I’ve already recommended this to many!

Cool, but…
I ordered it in May, and it broke a month later (the woofers stopped working). Amazon replaced with a new one. In general, everything is good, but this breakdown did not affect my opinion in the best way.

Disregard the bad reviews
Upgraded from its little brother (the Emberton II), the Middleton is a huge improvement for being just one and a half times it size of the smaller sibling. I don't understand the critical reviews of this, you really get what you pay for with a Marshall product. From the easy to use top panel to the superb tonal quality of this speaker, it really packs a punch and is a satisfying listen at any volume.

MARSHALL MIDDLETON BRILLIANT!!!
Liked everything about it, very happy with my "MARSHALL MIDDLETON BLUETOOTH SPEAKER" ... Great sound comes out of this little beauty, great features to, I can adjust the bass and treble from the top of the speaker with no messing about, plus the visible sliders show your settings.. You can also check your battery percentage from the top of the speaker.. The brass control knob works a treat.. volume up, volume down, next and previous tracks plus pause and switch on and off great....as for the built of it it's like a house brick really solid and has a decent bit of weight to it.. I like the idea that if you buy more Marshall speakers you can stack them up to get a stronger louder sound if you really want that brilliant.. The speaker is a bit expensive but you really do get what you pay for and I myself WOULD DEFINITELY recommend this new MARSHALL MIDDLETON SPEAKER!

Junk
This is not a very good speaker. For the price you expect a lot more. Cheaper alternatives with much better sound profile. The one i received was also defective and had issues with connecting to Bluetooth. Poor quality control. Will stick with the Bose sound flex.
