fruity rose with great longevity and projection
the scent wasn’t for me, but it’s still really lovely. great value for a strong projecting perfume. it was fruity and floral. the bottle is pretty big, kind of oversized cap. if you like a fruity rose, you’ll like it!

Elegant and feminine rose perfume
First Lataffa purchase and I am very happy.Top notes: litchi, roses and lily of the valley. The bursts of litchi are transient but and freshens up the the dominant rose note. I also detect lily of the valley in the first dozen of sprays before the litchi came thru. I suspect as Moira Silky Rose macerates, the litchi and perhaps pink pepper will become more apparent.Middle note: persistently sweet roses which I adore. Moira Silky Rose isn't a jammy rose like Lush Rose Jam, not at all fresh like Penhaligon's Elisabethan Rose, or robust with pink pepper like Initio Atomix Rose. It's a rather focused and linear rose perfume that I reach for when I am in the mood to be wrapped in cloud of freshly bloomed sweet roses. It's a feminine, vivacious and elegant rose perfume that's especially suited for spring.Base notes: vanilla, musk and powdery. Definitely mellowing out in the end, I detect some vanilla - not a creamy rounded rosy vanilla like Mancera Roses Vanille, but rather just enough to soften the clean musk.Moira Silky Rose stays for on my clothes for days. Even when I am doing my laundry I can smell it. Longevity is shorter on my skin, probably 6 hours. Sillage is moderate, no more than 2-3 sprays if you work in the office. As with many of Lataffa perfumes it may need to macerate, I am interested to see if the pink pepper and oud would become more dominant.

It's a nice, feminine, easy-to-wear, rose scent.
This is a lovely, feminine, light, but mainly rose, scent in a pretty bottle. My first choice isn't rose, but I figured I'd give it a try. It's not a "Go-to" scent for me but it's a very easy "General Wear" scent that I think most could enjoy.

Spray a few times and let it macerate
Okay, for some reason, the first four sprays were NASTY and filled with rose and pepper. I genuinely hated it and really really wanted to return it. I set it down and left for a half hour and came back after I washed off my arm. Sprayed it a few times more and decided to let it dry down and stay on my skin for a few hours before I made a final decision. I’m glad I did so because this turned from a spicy peppery rose fragrance to a lovely lychee and rose fragrance and I could barely smell the pepper. So I’m wondering if this was just due to being in the straw of the spritzer for a while. If you get this perfume, please let it sit! Spray it 4-6 times and come back to it. It sweetens up really nicely. After it sits, you can definitely smell the rose, lychee, musk, and other floral notes and the pepper becomes very faint. It’s still detectable but you have to really be sniffing for it.

An evening rose
Surprisingly elegant for how casual and almost cheap the bottle looks. Comparing to another softer rose scent i have this one i would consider a nighttime rose scent. It’s not powdery like the daytime one i have it’s more musky in the dry down making it seem a bit more grown up and for evening events or encounters. Is it the most evening elegant scent i own or have smelled, no it’s not, but it’s not a bad perfume.
