Economical substrate for my two rattles.Lasts a long time, and keeps the smells at bay, good absorbancy.I changed their substrate every 2-3 weeks.

Low dust, decent price
I started using this for my Syrian hamster after he had respiratory infections whilst on C&C and other similar beddings. I put a thick layer of it in my hamsters enclosure and sprinkle lots of "paper flakes" on top, and use the teabag bedding/tissue paper for nesting. When I empty the cage there is a bit of dust, but it's less than other beddings and isn't the kind that flies about everywhere when they burrow. One big con for me is that is has a horrible smell when it's been wee'd on. So okay if you can spot clean, but gross if you can't. :/

Good stuff
Got 2 piggies hay bedding gets damp ,shavings can get expensive, this stuff fits both problems, and think boys like it better

Huge price increase
I’ve been using this for years for my rats cages. Great stuff although getting far too expensive now. Used to be between £6-£8 just last year. Now it’s £11-£12. I only buy for quarantine/hospital cages now rather than for main cages.

Holds the pee!
I used this for my ferrets toilet tray, it's great! Holds the pee and holds the orders.

Great, absorbent bedding
We use this with our 6 rabbits and it’s the best and most absorbent bedding we’ve found. We use it in the litter trays but they often go and lie on it too so they must find it comfortable! The packaging is a bit fragile so be careful when handling it! But it is biodegradable, which is a big plus

Great value for money but very dusty
Caused my pet rats to sneeze a lot and it would smell very quickly… but you do get a lot of it for a very decent price just probably wouldn’t suggest getting it for rats
