Nexxus Oil Infinite Hair Mask For Men And Women, Hydrating And Moisturising Care For Frizzy Hair, Single Pack (190 g)

I was asked if I’d like to review Nexxus Oil Infinite Hair Masque for Frizzy Hair 190g and I said yes as I’d just finished my last bottle of conditioner.I’d never heard of this make before but with a little investigation I found out that it was founded in 1979 by Jheri Redding, (born 2nd March1907 to 15th March 1998). He was an American hairdresser, chemist, hair care products entrepreneur and businessman.Jheri Redding was the first to make "pH balanced" shampoos, the first to put vitamins in hair care product; he developed the perm product Jheri curl and was the inventor of modern-day hair conditioner.This hair masque arrives in a presentation box. Once you’ve taken the pot out of the box don’t open it straight away especially if it’s come by Royal Mail or been transported in a vehicle. Make sure you place it the right way up and leave it about 5 minutes to settle. I’m only mentioning this as once you take the lid of there is no seal to stop the liquid from going all over, (as I found out when I opened mine).This hair masque mask can be used with different hair types and styles as well as helping to tame fizzy and stop flyaway hair on straight, (I have the latter).It has a slight fragrance but that soon disappears.It’s formula is enriched with concentrated Elastin Protein, glycerine and a blend of precious oils which includes Babassu and Marula oil. Therefore, as it gently moisturises your hair, so your hair becomes silky, radiant and responsive.The company recommends that you should use the Hair Masque one a week in place of your Nexxus Oil Infinite conditioner. Directions are; apply the hair masque to damp hair, focus on the mid-length and the endings. Then comb it through your hair, then leave on for 3 to 5 minutes and then rinse.My hair felt really lovely afterwards and it was a lot more responsive than usual.The only down side is it’s expensive for what it is, (I’m only giving this product 4 stars due to that).I’m really pleased with the result from this product and can recommend it.

This is a lovely, beautifully scented deep conditioner...a really good product for frizzy that only requires a little to be effective. I like to apply and wear a shower cap for a bit to allow the heat to help it work magic on my hair.My hair is so soft and manageable after using it - and it smells divine.Nexxus is a trusted range, good quality ingredients and a little goes a long way.Recommended.

My wife has long “frizzy” hair and she applies this Hair Masque for Frizzy Hair instead of a conditioner. The idea is that you use this Hair Masque once a week instead of your normal conditioner. My wife found it ok and it did leave her hair feeling soft, but she prefers a conditioner though by the same manufacturer as this one, the  Nexxus Oil Infinite Conditioner for Frizzy Hair 250ml . Unless there’s an overwhelming scientific reason not to use conditioner every time she washes her hair she’ll stick with the conditioner.

Nexxus Oil Infinite Hair Masque for Frizzy Hair left my hair incredibly soft and shiny, unfortunately the cost is a let down.I was expecting this to be either a thicker cream, but it had a similar consistency to regular hair conditioner, thus it was light weight as well as being easy to work through and easy to rinse out too. The cost to me is a bit steep and especially as although it works great during use the results don't last once the masque has run out, but I will say that it lasts a good while - both the size of the tub and the texture means that this will go a long way so last a while.To use work through the ends of your hair while avoiding the roots, and then leave for 3-5 minutes before rinsing - it's generally not recommended to use a comb on wet hair but if your hair is thin enough to do this without much resistance then a wide-toothed comb is perfect for working this product through. It's pleasant to use, although I did notice that my hair didn't feel as nice once rinsed as it would following my normal shampoo/conditioner routine, once dry results were awesome.

A close friend with white afro hair was really pleased to try this frizz soothing conditioning hair mask.The product itself worked brilliantly and she's definitely a fan. Even at the price (which does seem a lot) she'd buy it as she could use it for events or special occasions where she really needs her hair to behave!The one major downfall of this product is undoubtedly the packaging and it's suitability. If it came in a dispensing bottle it would be so much easier and less likely to be wasted or spilt. The tub is quite full but as the mask is quite thin, it's a real shame because it drips. Not the easiest tub to open and close in the shower either!Definitely something that would impact on either of us buying the product in the future which is a real shame as it's rare to get a product that really works and doesn't leave any residue on your hair.

A premium price hair mask from Nexxus a company I have not heard of before (they seem to be an American luxury hairdresser brand) . I use a hair mask a couple of times a month when I feel my wavy hair has got a bit dried and frizzy and that my conditioner is not working as well as usual. I usually use Keratase Masquintense for thick hair but it has increased in price lately (to around £30) so I have been experimenting with cheaper alternatives. This mask is a bit cheaper (around £26) and I think it does just as good a job. It has a pleasant fragrance and applies to damp hair well. I usually leave masks a bit longer than the 5 minutes and then rinse off. The texture of my hair was notably better, smoother and silkier. The babassu and mirala oils which I also had not come across before obviously do their job.The mask is packaged in a screw top jar with no inner seal. It comes in a box which is shrink wrapped in cellophane.
